27/03/2024: Our fruit and vegetable store in Riposto recommended this restaurant to us. The chef responsible for the restaurant sources his products from small merchants in the neighborhood. We were welcomed by 3 charming professional waitresses who accompanied us throughout the meal with kindness and attention. Regarding the meal, the chef's cuisine is inventive and tasty. The taste buds are delighted. Well done to the chef and the kitchen assistants.👏

26/02/2024: I chose this location to celebrate my fiftieth birthday, a very important milestone. I was immediately fascinated not only by the beauty, cleanliness and order of the rooms but also by the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the maitre d'. Pappalardo who took care of everything down to the smallest detail, leaving nothing to chance. Thanks to the maitre d' I chose a very refined menu with very high quality dishes. The service staff was also very polite and professional. Owners particularly friendly and helpful. Casa Modò made my every wish possible, making my fiftieth birthday a truly special day. Thank you with all my heart

Da subito sono rimasto affascinato oltre che dalla bellezza, pulizia ed ordine delle sale soprattutto dalla professionalità, cordialità e disponibilità del maitre sig. Pappalardo che ha curato tutto nei minimi particolari non lasciando nulla al caso. Grazie al maitre ho scelto un menu molto raffinato e con portate di altissima qualità. Anche il personale di servizio e' stato molto educato e professionale. Proprietari particolarmente cordiali e disponibili. Casa Modò ha reso possibile ogni mio desiderio rendendo il mio cinquantesimo compleanno un giorno veramente speciale. Grazie di cuore

16/02/2024: Il ristorante si trova all’interno del Zash Country Boutique Hotel; gli ambienti sono caldi, accoglienti e ricchi di storia e natura. Le sale sono state ricavate intorno e dentro la vasca dove, in passato, si fermentava il vino. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione "I MIEI 10 ANNI DA ZASH" dello Chef Giuseppe Raciti, una stella Michelin. Sei portate di “pura goduria” ma ciò che ci ha colpito di più è stato “IL MIO UOVO CROCCANTE” che non descriverò perché è assolutamente da provare e “IL TORTELLO 40 TUORLI” con amarena, parmigiano e tartufo. Servizio eccellente, personale di sala molto cordiale e professionale. Grazie.

30/10/2023: My wife and I spent our honeymoon there. All I can say is “wow!” a great hotel, the staff are really nice at the reception, at the bar or in the restaurant without exception. I would recommend the hotel to everyone for couples or families with children etc. It is located between Catania and Taormina and both locations can be easily reached by train. The location is good, the hotel offers free bikes and you can ride them around Riposto. So always happy again!

06/04/2024: The pizza deserves a high rating. Tasty dough and interesting combinations at modest prices. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired: we booked via Instagram and the reservation was lost (despite having received their confirmation via chat), the extra plates to share the starters were visibly dirty and greasy, the waiters didn't come by even once to clear the table, rather long wait to be served.

03/03/2024: Ottima cantina, ma no, ora si dice vineria...ed in effetti c'è tutto il vino del mondo, potete soddisfare tutti i vostri desideri. La cosa che comunque mi ha più colpito è la qualità dei prodotti, soprattutto le cantine locali, ci sono tutte, e poi Massimiliano il proprietario ci ha aiutato e spiegato tutte le differenze e sfumature dei vini che abbiamo assaggiato. Insomma un luogo dove conoscere e assaporare i vini dell'Etna e non solo. Sicuramente torneremo.

03/03/2024: Excellent cellar, but no, now they say winery... and in fact there is all the wine in the world, you can satisfy all your desires. However, the thing that struck me most was the quality of the products, especially the local wineries, they are all there, and then Massimiliano the owner helped us and explained all the differences and nuances of the wines we tasted. In short, a place where you can get to know and taste the wines of Etna and beyond. We will definitely be back.

12/11/2023: A hidden corner that offers you excellent granitas (with non-obvious flavours) and high quality breakfast. All seasoned with the friendliness of the owner who will be happy to explain to you what a "matticana" is, or rather what it was.

06/02/2024: Visiting this place was a somewhat disappointing experience. The staff, instead of embodying the nobility of hospitality, demonstrated a clear lack of courtesy, revealing dismay when you wanted to pay by card rather than cash (as if we were in the Middle Ages...). The cashier's dismissive attitude contributed to an atmosphere of unease, which was amplified by the total absence of receipts, as if transparency were something foreign to this activity. Prices, moreover, turned out to be excessively high, turning even the purchase of banal rustics into an economic affliction. The quality of the dishes, unfortunately, betrayed my expectations, revealing a lack of effort in preparing an edible feast. In summary, my visit to this place marked a sad decline in the art of hospitality and gastronomy, leaving me wanting to never repeat a similar experience again. (And use this blessed position, you guys!) Edit: the owner's response confirms what was reported in my review, namely a total lack of courtesy and propensity for controversy. If a customer doesn't have cash available or simply prefers to pay by card, a reaction of amazement like the one I had to endure once I arrived at the cash register is not tolerable. The excuse of commissions is a STORY that no restaurateur now brings up to justify himself. Plus, it's not even the first time you haven't issued receipts, I don't think it's even necessary to ask you. First of all, learn the art of humility and take the criticisms addressed to you (even quite frequently judging by other reviews) as ideas for improvement, both from the point of view of the relationship with customers and from the point of view of the quality of the dishes offered .
