25/03/2024: Great place if you want to eat something with pistachio. The Granita con brioche was amazing. The brioche was very fresh and the staff was very friendly. Also the prices were extremely good for such venue in a touristy part of Taormina. They also sell great wine.

31/03/2024: I've had my very first italian ice cream there with my family. Additionally we bought Tiramisu, served in small cups of chocolate - amazing! A truly wonderful experience wich may be influenced by my low expectations to this holiday but this was by far the best Tiramisu I ever had and a delicious ice cream. A great start to our city tour.

30/03/2024: The place I recommend to everyone!!! Why ? Because you can feel his heart. Owner Fabrizio and Adelin methane passion and love and also transmit it to the staff. From breakfast with the best Gin Seng in all of Italy.. you can also have an excellent lunch with excellent "cunzato bread" and other things to suit your tastes.. We also arrive in the evening with excellent aperitifs with all the cocktails you want and with many appetizers that go with it.. EXCELLENT I recommend to everyone

06/02/2024: We left the dinner delighted. They helped us choose the wine and they gave you an appetizer of bread made by hand so you could try an extra virgin DOP oil. All the dishes were exquisite and the dessert was delicious, in addition to having a very original presentation.

25/02/2024: Amici mie is a welcoming bistro (20 seats) where you can spend pleasant evenings in the company of friends. The chef, Gabriele Oliva, despite his young age, demonstrates mastery and knowledge in dealing with traditional dishes but also innovative combinations. Personally, I had never tried the squid-chickpea combination and was pleasantly surprised. The manager and I presume also the owner is a histrionic and easy-going gentleman, always able to make the customer smile. Special mention, infinitely appreciated the choice to serve the Moka to our request for coffee. Super recommended.

From the moment we arrived, the owners greeted us with freshly harvested fruit and water. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness added a special touch to our entire stay. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a delightful journey of flavors, thanks to the delicious and mouthwatering homemade dishes. The creativity and attention to detail in every plate were truly remarkable. Each bite was a testament to the chef's passion for culinary excellence, a Chef that is also gardener, repairman, etc :-) The owners dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience was evident in every aspect, from the presentation of the dishes to the thoughtful combinations of flavors. Moreover, the ambiance of the hotel was cozy and inviting, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.

02/10/2023: Agriturismo L’Uliveto is a very special place. Cherubina and her family are all extremely kind and welcoming. The traditional Sicilian food is incredible. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a great pool. Our two year old had an amazing time running around the gardens and looking for the cats, sheep and chickens. We felt very relaxed here and had a wonderful stay.

26/03/2024: The place is small but positioned almost on the hemicycle of Piazza Antonello, the monumental heart of the post-1908 urban planning. The owner and the service guys are extremely kind, the service is fast and perfect. The choice of granitas with brioche is practically enormous, above all I recommend the almond one (made with toasted almonds, with an unmistakable aroma and flavour). For lunch then, very low prices and restaurant quality. The menu changes every day and the offer of first courses, second courses of meat and fish and side dishes is tastefully revisited although anchored to the excellent Messina gastronomic tradition. Absolutely worth trying for a lunch break, an aperitif or a breakfast stop. We will be back!

23/03/2024: In a comfortable and welcoming environment, two steaks from opposite origins were ordered, outside the classic menu: Scandinavian and Texas. Both surprising and engaging, thanks to excellent cooking: the first for taste, consistency and flavor; the second for its delicacy and "meltability" in the mouth. Accompanying Nerello mascalese, simple and perfect. Excellent final desserts and rosolio. Note of merit for the citrus Bavarian cream and the wild fennel liqueur. Excellent experience

17/03/2024: Le recensioni su Tripadvisor, avevano creato in me molta aspettativa, tanto se ne parla bene di questo piccolo ristorante. Tutto confermato, anzi, si è andati oltre! La qualità delle loro materie prime è di assoluta eccellenza, molti salumi e formaggi sono loro produzione, nonché il pane, prodotto con farine di grani antichi siciliani e che non si finirebbe mai di mangiarlo, tanto è buono. La carne, di altissima qualità, è stata cotta alla perfezione, cosa che ne ha esaltato il già eccellente sapore. Non ultimo, il fatto che per noi è stata la prima volta, ma, a fine serata, ci è sembrato di conoscerci da una vita, tanto è la cortesia, la gentilezza e il garbo, con cui il cliente viene accolto. Alla fine anche Carmelo, il responsabile del settore carne, si è seduto al tavolo e ci ha dato molte informazioni sulle loro materie prime e sulla provenienza. Il locale è molto carino, pulito e, cosa molto importante, con i servizi igienici splendenti e con odori totalmente assenti. Il prezzo è assolutamente allineato con la qualità dell’offerta, pertanto lo ritengo giusto.

28/03/2024: We went here on the recommendation of a friend, excellent food and generous portions, in short you don't leave there with an empty stomach, we loved the slices of crusty bread, the guys were very kind and always available. The service was very fast, perhaps a little too fast because there wasn't a moment's pause haha, but other than that it was to be appreciated. Highly recommended
