25/09/2023: I have had the opportunity to visit this restaurant specializing in Sicilian macaroni and pizza several times and I must say that I have always been very satisfied with the overall experience. The restaurant has a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, with simple but refined furnishings. The staff is friendly and attentive to customer needs, making the service efficient and pleasant. As for the food, the starters are delicious, all typical Sicilian dishes prepared in an exceptional way. The mix of flavors and textures was balanced and tasty. Moving on to the macaroni I must say that they are simply fantastic. The meat sauce that accompanies the macaroni is tasty and tasty, with a touch of "home" that makes it even more interesting. Truly a dish worth trying! The pizza, then, is no different. The base is thin and crunchy, with a good amount of tomato and mozzarella. We tried different variations and were pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. Another point in favor of the restaurant is the variety of Sicilian wines offered. We chose a red Etna, which proved to be a perfect match for our dishes. In conclusion, U Geusu is certainly a destination to be recommended to lovers of Sicilian cuisine. The food is authentic, tasty and prepared with love and passion. If you are looking for a pleasant evening in a friendly environment, this is the right place.

16/09/2023: Excellent pizza, very kind and helpful staff, they welcomed us even though we hadn't booked, offered a welcome bruschetta and served us immediately. We will be back. 👍

24/03/2024: When I went there for breakfast I always had a good time. Last night, however, I went there to buy something for dinner and left with the impression of having been scammed. There was practically nothing left, just 3 Garibaldini, 3 slices of pizza and 1 small pizza. I took 2 slices of pizza, a small pizza and added 2 donuts, paying 10 euros. Obviously the receipt only showed the overall price and doing a quick calculation I paid 2.50 euros for each salty piece but did a krapfen really cost 1.25 euros? Who charges 5 cents for a sweet? However, for goodness sake, they certainly made a profit last night: they ran out of leftovers and sold them at a high price. But still less than they would have earned by respecting a customer who would have been a regular and who would have gone there with many other people. Being smart never pays, especially if you aren't. Ah, I forgot: terrible food quality, rubbery pizza dough and pizza lacking in ingredients.

28/01/2024: Excellent pastry bar. A quiet place overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy a delicious black and white, typical Messina dessert. But also to enjoy excellent ice creams and granitas accompanied by the legendary brioche with tuppo.

31/03/2024: Excellent food, fresh and cooked to perfection. Fair prices and super friendly staff. Impeccable!
