27/03/2024: Ended up in this gem of a place of a rainy afternoon. The food was out of the world, the best we had in this long trip! I ate the gnocchi with chestnut and asparagus sauce. The chocolate desert was so good we ordered multiple times and ordered some take out too! Home made biscotti with coffee sealed the deal

17/03/2024: Fantastic day, beautiful place with a view of the vineyards, steak worth 10! Excellent service, I'll be back... the only flaw is that the forks can't be held in the hand, they're thin!!!
28/02/2024: I want to review LAUDEMIO oil. Evidently it has become a product for tourists who do not know anything about oil. Much worse than a few years ago. Too refined, it lacks flavor and personality. A shame really.

04/02/2024: I didn't like the pizza at all, I found the tomato acidic and the mozzarella not very good, poor service on a table of 10, 3 pizzas were wrong, terrible service, rude waitress, we were very cold, even though we had been warned that in fact we had children aged 1, 2 and 4 and we were placed in front of the door to freeze... (Apart from the complete lack of attention to the age of the children, given that half the room was empty and we had 2 strollers, one of which was a twin ...you don't have to be a genius to understand that it was better to sit at the back of the room so we would have suffered from the cold and we would certainly have been less of an obstacle to the service given that we were a table of 10 with 4 children, strollers, high chairs and toys to entertain the children. children as much as possible given the very small spaces of the venue)
There wasn't even a place to change the baby's diaper, so we ate badly, in the cold and it wasn't even possible to have a dessert because there wasn't any... thank goodness we were in good company because for the rest the evening was truly one to forget... the pizza from the coop is better

We waited a long time to then receive the completely silly and saltless spaghetti.
The waiters were kind (I gave three stars to the service only because the staff was kind to us) but it's not enough if the food is poor and if the wait is so long!
Among other things I also waited 10 minutes in front of the cashier to pay the bill….
I don't recommend it.
16/03/2024: We booked with TheFork with a 20% DISCOUNT!!!
The prices on the menu are higher than those on the fork..!!!
The food is good but not much especially the starter!!

19/01/2024: Hello, greetings to that family who welcomed me with great affection at the Miramonti hotel.
I am Cristhian Zelaya, I arrived in 2019 and I loved that time at the hotel, I think I stayed for 2 weeks and they were fantastic with me.
Thank you very good food, the place and especially the company of Don Luciano. I hope to see you soon to come and say hello again.
19/11/2023: The hotel is no longer the newest, but that gives it a special charm. I walked the St. Francis Way and called and they opened it especially for me because I had all the other options in Consuma. They lit the fire for me and cooked extra food. Service a 5/5 and very nice hosts.

24/08/2023: Yet another "family" management of a very traditional place, in an equally traditional destination for Sunday trips out of town for many Florentines. The "period" location has gone through the decades almost without changes (and this is not a criticism!) and remains just off the SR 70, a good km before the center of Consuma, in the quiet town of Poggio alla Ginestra, also good for walks and picnics.
Traditional and very limited menu, decent to good value for money. Personally, I found the starters (and side dishes!) a little too expensive compared to the first and second courses, but the quality of the cured meats and cheeses on offer seemed very good.
If you are passing through and don't feel like queuing for the local cold cuts and flatbreads, it can be a pleasant and relaxing alternative.

07/10/2023: Sono stata con la mia famiglia per cena, siamo rimasti tutti contenti dall’accoglienza del personale, il cibo ottimo e i dolci fatti dalla signora Luigina molto molto buoni! Ci ritorneremo di sicuro. Metto 5 stelle perche non posso mettere di più 🥰
