02/04/2024: I would like to renew my compliments for the delicious dishes eaten last night. I don't think I've ever eaten such tasty jugged wild boar and the apple pie melted in your mouth. Everything was satisfactory, even the view. I highly recommend this farmhouse to everyone. You will not regret it!

31/03/2024: Good typical Tuscan home cooking. The cured meats, croutons and cheeses are good, the homemade maltagliati with Chianina ragú and artichokes are excellent, and the pork loin with apples and truffles is a nice surprise. Those few euros more than the average that you are happy to spend.

16/03/2024: We can only agree with the excellent reviews. We came here for dinner on Christmas Day by chance and without any expectations. The Christmas menu offered with classic Italian Christmas dishes really impressed us. Whether crostini, tortellini in broth, sensational pasta or the main course with boiled meat and vegetables, everything is extremely excellently prepared. The side dishes such as lentils, mashed potatoes, a fresh pesto-style sauce and various pickled vegetables were so delicious. Simple dishes are absolutely not meant to be disrespectful, but rather a compliment. Preparing them so lovingly and deliciously is the true art of cooking. The wines on offer are also particularly noteworthy. Not the usual tourist wines but special and excellent wines. Someone here has thought about it. A very polite and attentive service rounded off our visit. Thank you very much and we will definitely come back.

14/01/2024: Era una vita che volevo approfondire la visita di questo delizioso borgo abbarbicato sulle colline prospicenti il mare di San Vincenzo, così ne abbiamo approfittato per deliziarci in questo piccolo scrigno di buona cucina, fatto di cose semplici, ma genuine, preparate con l'amore e la maestria di chi vive e lavora quotidianamente in questo bellissimo territorio. Il locale è piccolo, ma molto accogliente e caldo, ma di quel calore che scalda l'anima oltre che il corpo, sito in un grazioso vicoletto nei pressi della piazza centrale di Campiglia. Menù con ottime pietanze del territorio, piatti che trasudano tradizione e fatica, genuinità e qualità. Abbiamo cominciato con un profumatissimo tagliere misto di salumi, crostini e formaggi (tutte eccellenze regionali) per poi continuare con un'ottima zuppa del contadino e una buona polenta con peposo, da leccarsi i baffi, annaffiate da due ottimi calici di un delizioso Bolgheri (cantina tassativamente locale). Non potevamo chiudere senza un bel sorbetto al mango e la classica ed interessante coppa del buttero (a base di ricotta di bufala maremmana). Conto in linea con l'alta qualità di quanto proposto dall'ottimo chef Andrea che ci ha intrattenuto - a fine pasto - con le deliziose storie di questo bellissimo territorio e dell'eccellenze gastronomiche, spesso, neanche tanto conosciute. Posticino decisamente da provare almeno una volta.

30/03/2024: We are in front of the new fortress, right in front of an arm of the canal port; very suggestive. Restaurant run by a young couple. Raw materials of the highest quality interpreted by the chef both respecting the Livorno tradition and winking and experience at a very careful and above all tasty interpretation. Tasteful creative decor. It deserves it a stop; we'll be back.

02/04/2024: Excellent classic pizza and 5&5, a little less so by the slices! The place is small in size and is always full of people picking up orders, so I recommend booking in advance. I found the pizza slices a little heavy, poorly seasoned and with less than excellent products. I'll try it again to see if it was a bad night, hoping to improve my rating.
