02/04/2024: I give 5 stars to the service, because it is really good.
I expected more from the dishes: rabbit salad has nothing special, rabbit is dry; cod fritters: you can't taste the cod at all, just the dough; cod as a second course: tomato sauce is so acidic that you can't taste the fishy flavour; fried rabbit with courgette flowers is too dry; onion soup: we liked the flavor, but it's not soup, it's more like gruel, because it's too thick, overcooked. Only thing we really liked is dessert.
It wouldn't be bad to play some light music. The place is nice and clean.

03/04/2024: Lovely place! I had heard very good things about it, I had high expectations which were definitely confirmed both by the place, by the food including the quality, and by the staff. Everyone was very kind and attentive to the needs of all of us (we asked for an encore several times and they brought it calmly).
My review must also be of help to those like me who have serious allergies: I was contacted by telephone several times to check some ingredients together and not only that, more options were made available to me regarding dishes which, like they were set from menus I would not otherwise have been able to eat. Which was neither easy nor obvious as it was a full holiday day, being Easter, with a fixed menu. Congratulations to everyone, we will be back soon... maybe in the summer so my daughter can spend more with the animals too.
25/03/2024: You have to climb the hills in the immediate hinterland of Sarzana to reach La Burlanda, an organic agricultural farm in the heart of Lunigiana. The products of agricultural activity - viticulture, olive growing, fruit and vegetable cultivation, beekeeping and livestock farming - are found in many dishes offered by the agricultural restaurant which overlooks, with two beautiful and airy rooms, the green valley with olive trees that leads to the sea.
The menu changes frequently, following the rhythm of the seasons and the availability of raw materials which, when not produced in-house, are still sourced from local producers.
The cuisine proposals are presented in four declinations: tradition, territory, vegetarian, sea.
Unmissable on the traditional menu are the sgabei, a fried leavened dough that accompanies the excellent cured meats, made from pigs raised on the farm.
Even in the desserts you can find the freshness of the ingredients used.
The meal can be accompanied by wine - white or red - produced on the farm, surprising for its balance and pleasantness to drink.
The service is informal, efficient and polite.
You can buy farm products.
La Burlanda also has some rooms for overnight stays.

10/03/2024: I stayed in this hotel for work...The location is fantastic with an enchanting sea view and panorama. The rooms are very welcoming and clean, the pizza is delicious and not only that....there is also a swimming pool to relax in. In short, in the end it was a little holiday rather than a business trip... Highly recommended!

03/01/2024: Gli sgabei sono imbattibili, impossibile trovarne di migliori!!! Ogni volta che vado faccio il pieno!!! Ma anche il resto del menu non scherza, tra le mie portate preferite ci sono i testaroli, i ravioli, il maialino arrosto e la cinta senese! Complimenti a Cristiano, a Fiorella e a tutta la famiglia Emili che si dedica ai piatti e ai clienti con tanto amore e ti fa sentire subito parte della famiglia!
14/11/2023: Ristorante appena fuori Sarzana, situato in prima collina, siamo stati con i bambini, cucina ottima sopratutto la pernice rossa davvero una bella scoperta.
Abbiamo anche scoperto che nel piano inferiore sono presenti dei giochi gonfiabili per i bambini. Proprietari davvero molto gentili. Torneremo sicuramente.

17/08/2023: About eight km from the Sarzana motorway exit, in the Lunigiana hills, we can find this small village surrounded by greenery..
The last stretch of road that leads to the location is a bit narrow and you have to make room in case you encounter other vehicles but you can get there easily with the Maps directions..
We spent about ten days here in an apartment that once housed an old mill..
The internal environment is very large and the stone walls offer a cool shelter from the summer heat.
The dining area of the apartment offers everything you need to prepare meals and in the bathroom we can also find a small hydromassage tub.
The telephone in the area does not have much reception but the structure has WiFi coverage..
Mrs. Cristina is very kind and always available, the cuisine offered by the farm is excellent and plentiful.
In the outdoor spaces we can find a swimming pool for those looking for a bit of refreshment, tables covered by gazebos available to guests and lots of greenery..
In a fenced area there are also donkeys and a pony.
Pets are allowed and there is also the possibility of purchasing products of their production.
There is no parking in the structure and once the car is unloaded, it will be left about a hundred meters away from the village..
25/07/2023: A poetic place, surrounded by nature, excellent for fully relaxing: an oasis of peace. Mrs. Cristina is undoubtedly an added value of the place: her kindness and availability make the stay even more unforgettable. Also the precious staff, always ready to welcome you with a smile. The cuisine is fabulous, excellent and abundant dinners with products, especially vegetables, of their own production or of the nearby area. For those who wish, a rich breakfast, also in this case with home-produced products. The swimming pool makes you even more tempted to spend the day in this very relaxing place.

18/09/2023: Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio alle scuderie a giugno dello scorso anno e ci siamo trovati meravigliosamente bene.
Abbiamo optato per effettuare anche la cerimonia nella saletta degli specchi e, a seguire, la festa nel giardino. È stato tutto perfetto! Giulia è una padrona di casa super organizzata che ha reso ogni dettaglio impeccabile, assecondando nel modo migliore le nostre richieste. Cibo di ottima qualità, con valide alternative per bambini, persone celiache e per chi mangia pesce.
Festa apprezzata da tutti gli invitati. Ancora grazie
