02/04/2024: I was with my girlfriend at Gozzo on Friday evening 29 March 2024. Starting from the service, they were impeccable but don't expect a formal environment, because the owner and all the staff are nice and super welcoming. As for the food, the quality of the catch is exceptional, but not only that, the raw material is treated and cooked to perfection. The dishes are enjoyable, tasty and also refined. The quality/price ratio is crazy, eating a giant plate of raw fish, two super abundant first courses, a very fresh fish fry, dessert, water and a bottle of wine we spent less than 50 euros each. Thanks to all the staff at Gozzo, if we happen to return to Pisa this will be a must!

02/04/2024: Sono stato con la mia ragazza al Gozzo venerdì sera 29 marzo. Partendo dal servizio, sono stati impeccabili ma non vi aspettate un ambiente formale, perché il proprietario e tutto il personale sono simpatci e super accoglienti. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, la qualità del pescato è eccezionale, ma non solo, la materia prima è trattata e cucinata  alla perfezione. I piatti sono goduriosi, saporiti e anche ricercati. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è pazzesco, mangiando un piatto gigante di crudi di pesce, due primi super abbondanti, una fritturona di pesce freschissimo, dolce, acqua e una bottiglia di vino abbiamo speso circa 50 euro a testa. Grazie a tutto il personale del Gozzo, se ci capiterà di ripassare per Pisa questa sarà una tappa dovuta!

07/03/2024: We know ...... pizza is a very inflated food, it's everywhere and often the quality is what it is ........ But in this place everything changes .... the flavors are excellent , the pizza is light and goes down so well that you would even eat two in a row... You can smell the fragrance of the truly perfectly leavened and cooked dough..... behind it there is certainly the passion and knowledge of those who love their product in all aspects, there is the transport of those who want to offer you a sensation and Giovanni really does it. The environment reflects these aspects, welcoming, clean and varied... many vintage objects make up the furnishings, quality objects and refined in taste and arrangement....the value given to time.....During the Christmas period we also had the opportunity to taste Giovanni's panettone...absolute masterpieces...fragrant and delicate, the various flavors melted on the palate like caresses. I'm happy to be able to say that even in Pisa there are those who make you taste great quality pizzas. The craft beers are also excellent. Well done Giovanni!!!!!! P.S. .....Absolutely worth trying is the "Farina del mio sack" pizza....with larded prawns and crispy bacon...mmmhhhhhh.

31/03/2024: The food is not bad, but the rudeness of what I was told is the owner's wife is unspeakable. It also allows you to respond to customers who wait several minutes at the counter for a coffee, who don't have to complain and be in a hurry "you don't have to go to work tomorrow anyway" (since it's Easter Monday) He told another gentleman who had asked for punch that it took time to do so. Even a waiter was quite unpleasant trying to turn the omelette around, even resentful, about mistakes made by them and their disorganization. Sometimes a little humility would make mistakes more acceptable. For this reason we will not return or recommend it.

26/02/2024: It recently opened under new management, the bar has a counter worthy of a pastry shop, beautiful sweets and savories for every taste. The lunch menu is extensive, with quality raw materials, truly excellent express cuisine and VERY LOW PRICES, highly recommended! (Today I had steamed squid with Catalan salad of vegetables and water... total €7 😱)
