06/04/2024: The best meal we had in Tuscany I am glad that we didn’t miss it as we told ourselves that we will definitely go back when we visit Tuscany again! A menu with great options for pasta and meat - we managed to try three pasta - the papadelle with wild boar sauce, black seafood sauce pasta and the special of the day - red shrimp spaghetti. All of them are sooooo tasty in particular the last one (I wanted to lick the plate). The florentina steak was the best we have ever had! Service was lovely - everyone was so warm and friendly even if we couldn’t speak Italian. They even gave my daughter a special surprise when they knew it was her birthday. Love love love this place! Probably a good idea to reserve a table as it is very popular and crowded even on a weekday!

05/04/2024: Had a wonderful meal here yesterday - exquisite food, excellent service, and the best bread we've eaten in Tuscany. We had the Blu di bufala (Buffalo blue cheese) and Trancetto di baccalà (Cod with citrus fruits and puntarelle) starters followed by the Fagottelli di fonduta (cheese fondue ravioli with black truffle), the Spaghetti with octopus chorizo and the roasted endive (Indivia arrosto) mains - all were absolutely wonderful. The ravioli were outstanding and are a 'can't miss' if you do visit. Can't wait to go back when the outdoor terrace is open, as the views of Montescudaio and the coast are spectacular. A great place to go for a special occasion, or just to treat yourself or someone special. You deserve it!
25/02/2024: First time at this restaurant. Modern but sober and pleasant furnished room. Too bad about the noise when there are tables and they allow you to talk calmly with your diner. I recommended sound-absorbing panels. Chef Simone proved himself capable of combining innovation and tradition with excellent products. The tagliolini with pigeon and blueberries are excellent, as are the gnocchi with fennel, crunchy black cabbage and chicken bittarga. Worth trying, as are the non-trivial desserts. The service needs to improve. Still good at the chef. See you soon

19/01/2024: We stopped for a beer and a snack, we couldn't have made a better choice! Welcoming place and staff, delicious local products and fantastic selection of beers. We will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. Highly recommended!

Accoglienza ottima, location molto bella, sia per comodità sia per il luogo, sulle colline di Montescudaio.
Servizio ottimo, veloce e prodotti di qualità.
Porzioni ottime, e amaro e dolcetti offerti alla fine , ciliegina sulla torta.

05/01/2024: Locale nel piccolo centro di Montescudaio, arredato in maniera "originale", il menu offre sia piatti di carne che di pesce, ma la nostra scelta ricade sulle pizze, molto sottili con una discreta farcitura, molto digeribile, buona anche la schiaccia.
Cameriera molto cortese, servizio rapido.
02/10/2023: E' difficile fare un commento su questo locale. ho girato in largo e lungo tutta l'Italia e gran parte dell'estero ma non mi sono mai trovato in una simile situazione. Posso garantire che dopo aver frequentato migliaia di ristoranti non mi sono mai trovato nella condizione di dovermi alzare dopo i primi, pagare ed andare via. La prima avvisaglia l'ho avuta quando ho visto due coppie nei tavoli accanto al mio lasciare i piatti ancora pieni e andare via. Ordiniamo 2 antipasti di mare due risotti di mare come primi e per secondi 2 caciucchi e due tagliolini agli scampi. Gli antipasti con cozze immangiabili quattro acciughine , quattro crostini e una specie di insalata di polpo rigorosamente da barattolo. Velo pietoso sul risotto di mare : riso bollito al quale dopo cottura viene aggiunto qualche pezzo di polpo due cozze quattro vongole surgelate senza alcun condimento abbiamo lasciato il tutto nei piatti. mentre attendiamo il caciucco lo vediamo arrivare al tavolo vicino e visto che in quel piatto di caciucco non si vedeva nemmeno l'ombra decidiamo di annullare tutto il resto della commenda andare alla cassa pagare il "consumato" e venir via. Sono un commerciante anch'io ed in una situazione simile avrei almeno chiesto al cliente il motivo di tutto questo, ma nessuno ci ha chiesto niente, probabilmente sono sono abituati a queste figure. Auguri signori miei come diceva Orietta Berti "Finchè la barca va..."

Let the owners advise you on the choice of wine and food, I took a cutting board and tasted excellent cured meats and cheeses. Pure vegetables, to serve them like this you need the certainty of having an excellent product, very good oil
