11/02/2024: Between Abetone and Val di Luce, now almost empty due to the absence of snow, there is this small, very welcoming restaurant. I immediately felt in a familiar environment and so pampered in all my choices. The dishes are very generous and I must admit that the quality of the products does not take long to make itself felt from the first bite. As you can see from the photos they didn't save on the seasoning... we're talking about almost 300g of porcini mushrooms on a polenta that melted in your mouth, the same thing about the mushroom morsels, a truly excellent second course. The tagliolini with truffle cream that I was able to taste seemed to me to be a very delicate dish with an excellent balance between the mushrooms and the truffle, the combination that surprised me the most was the orange with the sausage and the taleggio cheese, a pleasant flavor that stays in your mouth and you almost regret having to eat anything else.
I definitely recommend it and we will be back. Very satisfied.
22/01/2024: We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant during a weekend in the mountains and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The owner was very kind and so was the other lady who served us. I would happily stay here again

04/04/2024: Easter Monday lunch. From the first courses to the dessert, everything was very good and plentiful.
08/01/2024: Really nice, clean and well-kept place with a beautiful view. We went for lunch on Boxing Day, very good food and good value for money. We will definitely be back, I'd love to in the spring.

14/03/2024: Buon cibo e cordialità, un ristorante posto all'interno dell'hotel che merita di essere provato. Abbiamo mangiato sia a pranzo che a cena in questo locale e ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo. Piatti ben cucinati, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo molto buono.
Appena seduti offrono un piccolo antipasto fuori dal pasto, hanno un buon vino anche da prendere in quarti o mezzo litro, consiglio di provare i porcini fritti e ottimi gli gnocchi taleggio e radicchio. Molto buona anche la carne, il filetto tenero e ottima qualità della carne.
Al termine della cena o del pranzo è ottimo anche lo spumone con varie possibilità di topping, cioccolato, caramello o mirtillo.
Se dovessi tornare in zona sicuramente tornerei ben volentieri.
02/03/2024: Ristorante di eccellente qualità. Le portate sono tutte abbondanti e buonissime, piatti caratteristici del luogo, funghi fritti, pappardelle al cervo e tanto altro . Da provare per credere.
Personale accogliente e molto gentile oltre al titolare che vi accoglie sempre calorosamente.
I nostri fine settimana sono sempre arricchiti dal sapore REGINA 👑

28/01/2024: Cibo tutto sommato accettabile...personale scortese, impossibilitati a pagare con la carta per una sedicente mancanza di linea che comunque non giustifica la totale assenza di scontrino fiscale.

25/02/2024: Above all, my review is to apologize for the terrible behavior I had with the owner last night.
I also ate too little (due to pain from a fall from skis) to be able to enjoy the food I saw passing by.
and that everyone else at the table with me enjoyed.
10/02/2024: The best restaurant in Abetone. Excellent food, splendid view of the valley, average prices and then there is Michela's friendliness. Also suitable for children who love pasta with tomato sauce, cooked here in a genuine way.

15/03/2024: Empty place from the moment we entered to the time we left, not a dog entered and then we understood why; my 12 year old cooks much better... The manager is nice and it can even be nice to have a chat with him but, every now and then, let us have a little conversation with each other too. Terrible food

The owners are lovely people who make you feel at ease, excellent service, freshly made dishes of unique goodness! Congratulations truly for the commitment and love you put into what you do.

07/02/2024: diahane and gave me a meat cutlet that smelled of fish, chips taken from the wet waste bin and the great waiter when I asked him if he would have the trio of bruschettas replied "well it's the trio of bruschettas" for then it took 3 minutes to remember that the platter was made up of salami, mortadella, ham and cheese, which tasted of rotten goodness. 17 euros to risk gastric lavage and you even allow yourself to put water for 9 euros on the Maremma cignala accidentav menu

22/08/2023: Prima volta nella vita che scrivo una recensione negativa, amo premiare personale e locali dove sono stato bene, con belle recensioni ed evito di farle in negativo, ma l'eccezione conferma la regola.
In primo luogo, una riflessione: se l'ultima corsa per scendere con l'ovovia è alle 17:50, perché spengere la macchina del caffè mezz'ora prima?
Eravamo in 4, desiderosi di un buon caffè, ma il locale era in chiusura (nessun cartello ben visibile con l'orario) ed abbiamo ripiegato su altro.
Al momento di pagare, (due succhi di frutta serviti senza il bicchiere, 7 euro; sì, SETTE EURO) mia nuora è andata in cassa, ma la signora stava contando i soldi dell'incasso e non l'ha degnata di uno sguardo, quindi dopo qualche minuto (finita la conta) ecco la titolare che manifesta tutto il suo splendore: simpatica come una spinta sulle scale, algida, accogliente come un istrice in posizione di difesa, chiede il pagamento in contanti, perché ha chiuso la cassa.
Il conto è di 10 euro (due succhi e dell'acqua al banco) i contanti racimolati tra noi arrivano a 5 euro; in un clima di una freddezza imbarazzante, l'anziana signora decide che è il caso di attivare il pos; ciliegina sulla torta: NON RILASCIA LO SCONTRINO!
Con tono autoritario ed arrogante sentenzia che l'unico documento stampato, relativo al pagamento con il pos, È SUO!
E così usciamo tra mille dubbi, ma con un'unica certezza: MAI PIÙ!
P.S.: Mi sono letto un po' di recensioni e mi domando: ma questa gente non le legge le recensioni?
