We ate very well, we recommended the tagliolini with artichokes and pistachio pesto, baked pear and cheese terrine, peposo with potatoes and the chocolate and chilli pepper cake was fantastic!!!

Discovered by chance last week while wandering around Tuscany. We stopped, tasted, and came back again the next day for their delicious sandwich. Found out that they also have an e-shop and deliver to the Czech Republic too!!

What needs to be improved:
Mousse au chocolat contains alcohol. Either declare this on the menu or leave it out. This is an absolute NO GO for children, pregnant women and people with intolerances. Especially with dishes that do not contain alcohol.

05/03/2024: King Arthur's tavern is located in the center of Pienza, open all the time.
The menu consists of various local dishes. I recommend the stuffed bread croutons, we took the ones with lard and honey, bacon and pistachio cream and a third with ham and pecorino, nice big and tasty, accompanied by a mixed platter of Tuscan cheeses and cured meats.
All these plus two glasses of wine we spent around 45 euros, let's say you pay a lot for the place and the 0 km raw materials. But all very good

04/04/2024: I have been frequenting this place for years now and they have never made a mistake, everything is always designed to make the customer find himself in a typically Tuscan environment with good food and great hospitality. I was there on Easter Monday with my family, and once again they confirmed our expectations. The Tuscan crostini and ricciarelli were simply amazing! Well done Paola e&. We will be back soon

I recommend the mixture of cheeses accompanied by a delicious homemade rose jam!

30/01/2024: Visited in 2021, 2022, 2023 practically every time I go to Montalcino. Just outside the center the place is beautiful and fantastic. You eat very well, natural, refined cuisine and wines. The boys also cultivate the vegetable garden. Highly recommended, let's say that with 40/50 euros you can eat and drink well.
