25/03/2024: Stopped here for very late lunch 1535 hrs returning to Corvara from Marmolada, but via off piste routes. Key was to be somewhere where no lifts were necessary for our return. Kitchen was closed but the owner most kindly offered us sandwiches, he’s mates with my awesome alpine guide Maria P. The bread looked huge but did it just melt in my mouth, so soft, so tasty, so fresh, and the prosciutto was to die for! How do they get everything to taste so good and fresh up on a mountain! The views outside were lovely! Must visit. Straight ski down to Corvara !

06/04/2024: Very nicely located hut with a great view. The service is quick and friendly, and the dishes are also very good. We particularly liked the Kaiserschmarren - although when it's very busy, it's only available outside of lunchtime. But you shouldn't miss it!

20/03/2024: This hut with a great sun terrace and panoramic views is located directly on the ski slopes. Friendly service and delicious food invite you to stop by ⛷️. The pasta with mushrooms and the “Gröschtl” (eggs with bacon and fried potatoes) were delicious. Highly Recommended!!!

02/04/2024: Typical Italian restaurant. We had brushetta, pizza, pasta, and risotto. And everything was of great quality and taste. The staff are very friendly. I recommend it when you're in the area.

27/03/2024: When I go on holiday to Corvara for years now Fornella has always been the fixed stop for every dinner for me and my family! The staff is always very friendly, the service is very fast and the food is of excellent quality! Gluten-free pizza is very good and it's not always a given to find gluten-free options!

29/03/2024: The first evening I ordered a second course, and unfortunately only for that evening they served it to me cold and raw, they immediately apologized and after 10 minutes I was able to enjoy my order, the bill was very welcome and the cancellation of the wrong second course was also appreciated . It's the second evening I've gone with my family. Really nice place, well-proportioned spaces between the tables, warm staff from the entrance to the end of the meal, friendly, kind. The food is excellent and the cost is fair for what you eat. The bathrooms are always clean and fragrant and superbly presented. Finally, the DOC dessert is the APPLE STRUDEL, warm, soft and tasty I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful evening

10/02/2024: We waren hier om een wijntje te drinken in de hotelbar. Mooie wijnkaart met lekkere wijnen. Stukje kaas en heerlijke olijven krijg je lekker bij de wijn. Ambiance en setting kloppen helemaal.

13/12/2023: Not a MIchelin level restaurant: service is the only thing at the level, in general food was uninspiring. Scampi presented in a half shelf, claws were not not cracked open, no pliers were provided for this, we had to scrape the meat out of the shell with a regular, however small fork. Any run-of-the mill restaurant in Liguria, where we live, would provide scampi raw or cooked at half the price. Here we paid E70.00! for a plate of scampi with something on the side. The description of the dish in the menu was totally inadequate. Turbot, which normally is a fish with a lot of taste, was bland and not interesting. Various in-between bits and pieces were of variable interest. Very disappointing.

11/10/2023: Esperienza di altissimo livello ! a differenza di 2 anni fa ..dove c'erano stati problemi di tempistiche.. , la nuova cucina guidata dallo Chef Simone Catafio ha regalato piatti emozionanti e tempistiche pressoché perfette nella scaletta tra le varie portate. Iniziando con un bonus per il servizio gestito da ragazze molto preparate e professionali ! tornado alla cucina, Un applauso per i pre appetizer degni di nota ! ogni piatto è stato pressoché perfetto , abbinamenti equilibrati e cotture millimetriche . Ottimo i ravioli nella biscque di gamberi e bonus per il dolce ai fichi veramente spettacolare. Unica pecca.. la cottura del petto di selvaggina non è stata eseguita in modo ottimale , in quanto restava gommosa al palato (sarebbe stato meglio renderla più croccante). Sicuramente consigliatissimo ! Bravi !
