07/04/2024: A wonderful visit to Meran, good food, good wine and owners who put their hearts into it. All fresh food and largely homemade. Since everyone was close to each other and there was a larger and rather louder group, it became a bit uncomfortable and loud, but still a trattoria as you would expect. 👍 Thank you very much

06/04/2024: Leisure trip, looking at the suggestions we notice this place on the podium in the area and decide to try it. I recommend booking, it's really always full! Small place, 30-40 seats, simple but attentive and punctual service. Already reading the menu promises to satisfy the palate, all palates, meat, fish and vegetables, the most difficult part is the choice. Generous portions and well seasoned. The area is full of restaurants and certainly very good ones, but this one really deserves the visit and to be included on the podium! Until next time! 🏅

Autumn holidays 2023 Two enjoyable lunches, with fantastic weather, a wonderful view and courteous service from the boss. We are already looking forward to the next time next year. Repeat offender, Easter holidays 2024. Two fantastic trips to the “Knödelglück” restaurant. A delicious lunch on the sun terrace. Easter Sunday in the restaurant with a great meal and good wine watching the rain in the mountains.

05/04/2024: We spontaneously wrote the evening before and got a parking space plus a table in the restaurant (beginning of April). The view is unbeatable! There was a 3 course menu, you can easily be surprised, it was very tasty. If you want vegetarian food, you just have to say so when making the reservation. If you eat in a restaurant, the parking space is free and there is a toilet. Thanks!

01/04/2024: Very tasty coffee / chai latte and I can recommend the Ocean Bowl for breakfast (although I find €11 a bit expensive) 🤗 The service is also really friendly and the shop itself has a cozy atmosphere with loving decoration.

05/04/2024: The location and the associated distant view, especially from the outdoor tables, are unique. Especially the hiker who has to climb the steep Katzensteinstrasse from Meran, or who wants to take a last break before reaching Meran after a long day of hiking, appreciates the existence of this tavern. The selection of food and drinks is quite diverse. You should definitely dare to try the characterful home-grown wines. They go perfectly with typical South Tyrolean dishes. When the weather is bad, it's also very comfortable inside. The host family is always friendly, attentive and accommodating, no matter how busy they are. You immediately feel comfortable.

04/04/2024: Overpriced and poor quality. I had a Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. The salad leaves that were included for decoration had large brown spots, the meat was of poor quality and very dry, and the portion was rather clear. The waitress slammed the food onto the table in an unfriendly manner and without any comment. When we wanted to pay and told a waitress, she just said that the boss would do it and left without a word without notifying him.
