04/04/2024: My work colleagues and the excellent reviews led me to this fabulous pizzeria expertly managed by a Sardinian boy from Iglesias (Sardinia).
The pizza I chose with culatello, Apulian burrata, excellent tomato sauce, what can I say: Finger licking!!
They have a wide selection of very good and genuine desserts made by them.
I greatly appreciated the myrtle and limoncello offered at the end of the meal. I recommend everyone to try this gastronomic experience!!

02/04/2024: After a long time, we returned... we were engaged when, in our carefree strolls, we stopped in this restaurant. It was winter, you could barely see the light in the room... we entered and it felt like we were at home. Family, children, work and other commitments have distanced us... we are back. A triumph of flavors, always better, fantastic pizzas, as always a certainty 🤩🤩🤩

03/04/2024: We stayed here for the Easter weekend. The structure has been run for over 90 years by the Pachera family who welcomes you and makes you feel at home. The cuisine is excellent, with typical traditional dishes. The rooms comfortable and clean. The place lends itself to walks and excursions suitable for everyone
Excellent value for money
29/03/2024: I stayed in this refuge with some friends for one night and I had a very good time. Quiet place, perhaps due to the fact that we were the only guests, friendly staff available to provide directions also regarding the routes to take. Note of merit for the food, excellent and plentiful both at breakfast and dinner. The refuge can be easily reached from Avio in about half an hour by car or after two and a half hours of trekking.
The price is medium-low, I've been in worse places for more.
The rooms are nice, well heated and with private bathroom.
The only black point: the bathrooms are not equipped with bidets.

06/04/2024: Exceptional raw materials and preparation of the highest level. Already gone 4 times for dinner, and all the dishes are always excellent. The rib is top in terms of both quality, cooking and price. Highly recommended

di ritorno da una vacanza. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, tagliere di salumi e formaggi, primi e dolci, tutto buono. Prezzo più che onesto. Piacevole scoperta.

28/09/2023: Hotel in a quiet location and ideal as a starting point for many excursions. It is managed with extreme professionalism and dedication to the work. Cleanliness is scrupulous, excellent cuisine with local products and homemade pasta. We found a lot of kindness and willingness to give us information to better visit the area. Congratulations and thanks again!!
24/09/2023: Welcoming as if they were our family; all managed by two sisters, excellent cleanliness both in the rooms and in the kitchen. Excellent place as a base for exploring the mountain hut area and north/south of Garda. We will definitely be back!

09/03/2024: We stopped at Trattoria Vecchio Porto for lunch over the weekend. We opted for the fish menu, choosing the course of 6 appetizers and a seafood first course. The dishes are very refined, both in appearance and composition, and the raw materials are of high quality. The very fresh fish. The environment is very simple, but comfortable. The service of Mr. Vittorio, owner of the restaurant, is unparalleled. Kind, friendly and welcoming. In conclusion, a positive experience, worth repeating!

01/11/2023: Dopo la fatica dell'inerpicata e l'essersi estasiati per le bellezze naturali e l'apprezzamento del lavoro umano nel castello cosa c'è di meglio di un gustoso pasto ristoratore? È quello che ti offre la locanda con cibi tradizionali, gustosi, consumati in un ambiente suggestivo, a prezzi onesti il tutto con un servizio impeccabile
21/08/2023: Abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare per comodità alla conclusione di una visita al castello. La locanda si è rivelata all'altezza del Castello: cibo locale ottimo, servizio rapido e cordiale, prezzi inferiori rispetto a quelli che ci si aspetterebbe dall'unico punto di ristoro.

16/03/2024: Siamo arrivati con 3 bimbi piccoli e già la proprietaria era visibilmente scocciata e infastidita. Abbiamo chiesto una pastina per la piccolina di 1 anno e sembrava fosse una richiesta assurda (poi abbiamo capito che la signora si era infastidita da qualche pezzetto di cibo caduto ai bimbi).
Ad ogni domanda o richiesta le risposte sono state estremamente secche, visibilmente infastidite ed acide. Seppur allibiti, siamo rimasti perché i bimbi avevano fame ma non vedevamo l’ora di andarcene via.
Servizio veloce, cibo discreto peccato che solo la ragazza più giovane che serviva ai tavoli sia stata gentile.
Cara signora proprietaria spero che sia stato solo un inciampo e non faccia così con tutte le famiglie che capitano lì (perché anche quelle sono dei CLIENTI ) altrimenti basta specificare che NON sono gradite.
