20/03/2024: Beautiful facility and excellent service. The private spa service is well looked after, with reservation. We also took advantage of the massages, which were well performed and very relaxing. Excellent quality restaurant with refined, well-executed and presented dishes, served in a refined and particular location. The veranda overlooking the garden is beautiful.

19/02/2024: Sono stata con il mio compagno ieri a cena in questo posto incantevole, era da qualche anno che non ci tornavo e devo dire che è rimasto sempre una meraviglia! Noi abbiamo usufruito del servizio spa privata per un’ora, bellissimo posto, super rilassante dotato di ogni confort. Il posto veramente incantevole sia dentro che fuori, accogliente quasi magico, fiabesco. Una nota di merito assolutamente va alla cucina e allo chef che avrei voluto conoscere solo per fargli i miei complimenti. Ho mangiato in tanti posti buoni ma questo (in umbria) a mio avviso è uno dei migliori. Per quanto riguarda la mia cena ho assaggiato il carciofo ripieno come antipasto: un gusto delicatissimo e super equilibrato, il carciofo si scioglieva in bocca, la crema di topinambur che lo accompagnava era deliziosa e si bilanciava perfettamente con la parte croccante del piatto. Ho poi gustato un delizioso primo piatto; le tagliatelle al cacao col ragù: il sapore della tagliatella era presente ma non invadente, si sposava perfettamente con il resto dei sapori. Il mio compagno ha provato anche la carne: vitello con cardoncelli: tenerissima, si scioglieva in bocca come burro. Per concludere il tiramisù era a suo dire divino, mentre io ho provato il tortino al cioccolato che era assolutamente una goduria per il palato. Deliziosi anche gli entrèe di benvenuto: sia il cocktail di prosecco e melagrana che il pane caldo con olio evo e l’arancino caldo. Lo consiglierei sicuramente. Ci tornerò per il mio compleanno!

31/03/2024: A place with a view of the lake where you can enjoy a good lunch. However, the place offers accommodation almost exclusively outdoors and is closed if it rains. Consider this if the weather is not ideal. Service needs to be improved with steel cutlery and plates, plastic water bottles or biodegradable cutlery are not acceptable today. For these last aspects I consider the quality/price ratio inadequate.

09/02/2024: First things first. Wine and drinks list is great. Great food too. Incredible views/location and the decor is ace. We've moved to the area from London and for us, a cool relaxed bar, offering interesting diverse food options and menu quirks like 10 different vermouths is exactly what we would want. Plus, 10 minutes down the road from our new home? Even better. Except…however great everything else is, apparently, they don't want you to be there. We went quite early on a very rainy Friday and I can genuinely say I've never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my life. I've never actually smilingly said good evening to a bar staff member and being actively and deliberately ignored. No one came to greet us at the door, so we sat down and were literally shouted at that the seats were reserved. They were not marked, but apparently were total idiots for not knowing this, and we were waved outside. After half an hour under a thin umbrella in the rain, I had to go into the bar area and ask if they were actually serving customers that night, at which point the waitress growled at me, rolled her eyes, grabbed some menus, stormed over to our table and asked what we wanted, all as if we'd just run over her dog. I genuinely don't get it. It was impossible to get any staffs attention because they were basically huddled under cover from the rain, chain smoking and scowling at you. If you smiled and waved at them, they literally turned their back to you? That said, we did, eventually, get some very reasonably priced and actually really interesting drinks plus a very nice selection of food. I mean, they were practically thrown in our faces, but the actual products were great. Now, it was a while ago, but I'm writing this review as I was driving past it the other night, and my wife and I actually burst out laughing because it was such a unique experience. Even the infamous Wong Kei in London's Chinatown seemed like a welcoming Four Seasons resort by comparison. There are some reviews on here that really big up how great the staff are. So I don't know, maybe it was just an off night? it was just that EVERYONE was actively obnoxious, which seems really odd. My Italian is pretty good, I tried to be polite I think, but they were pretty hostile before I'd even said a word? Still after six months I think I've recovered from the trauma, so we might go back. But really, it would be just to see if it really can have been that plain weird and unpleasant or did we just imagine it? Anyways, it was so remarkable, even if that's the norm, I'd actually recommend you go for the experience. It was so appalling it was like a piece of performance art. If it had just been 'OK' I doubt I'd have remembered anything about La Puntabella at all. As it is, I'll remember it on my death bed.

07/04/2024: Quiet place where you can eat well, purely Neapolitan food cooked with excellent Tuscan products. Right mix between Tuscan quality and Neapolitan imagination. Well done. Simple environment. Prices normal

05/11/2023: We had lunch at the hotel restaurant, after reading positive reviews and being in Ormea, we took the opportunity for this new experience. The place is "vintage" but welcoming and clean, the service is excellent and the dishes are exceptional.. I ate sweet and sour pork which was simply fantastic.. tender and tasty.. I tasted some courses from the rich tasting menu and the quality is reflected in all the dishes! The price is not very low but certainly in line with the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

01/01/2024: Capitati per caso, usciti dall'autostrada per cercare un ristorante dove mangiare....non ci saremo mai entrati se non fosse stato per l'orario, erano le 15,00, sembrava il classico bar di paese.... invece abbiamo mangiato divinamente un antipasto misto di pesce freddo e caldo, e degli ottimi spaghetti alle vongole.... personale gentilissimo e prezzi super onesti... consiglio vivamente e se ritornerò in zona farò sicuramente tappa qui....

26/01/2024: We had a wonderful aperitif. 2 Aperol Spritz and 2 glass of wine for 15 euros with several free accompaniments. I recommend!
