05/04/2024: Well, having lunch on the terrace at Fabietto is always wonderful. Sympathy and simplicity. A cooking style based on perfect and carefully prepared foods, without ever falling into excess of imagination or ingredients.

31/03/2024: Easter lunch à la carte from the starter to the dessert, genuine and refined dishes. It's been a long time since we found this satisfaction in eating in a restaurant. Nice intimate and characteristic place. Very friendly, not snooty service. Definitely coming back

29/03/2024: We were pleasantly impressed by the location and the service, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, elegant but also an environment and service that was not too "stiff" like in many starred restaurants! Ludovica was super welcoming, the sommelier recommended a perfect wine for the chosen menu and accompanied us in explanations throughout the dinner, together with the cordial and always friendly staff!! Well done! The food and above all the raw materials used are something crazy that is difficult to explain in words, it is a journey that must be experienced! Rich in scents and textures that I have tried so far! Highly recommended!!

22/03/2024: Excellent restaurant. Amazing experience. Given that my wife is pregnant, we chose the à la carte menu for obvious reasons, but the staff asked about dietary restrictions at the beginning of service and they made sure to cater to our specific needs. The food was exquisite yet unpretentious, without any pretentious montage on the plate. The Pino Mugo pasta is a game changer and the Game was out of this world. Don’t get me started on the wine pairings… All in all, highly recommended and we can’t wait to go back!

31/03/2024: We had dinner the evening before Easter attracted by the splendid all-wooden location! Dinner was a mix of emotions due to the particularity of the dishes; intimate, refined and exclusive with excellent flavours. Added value to the restaurant, Mrs. Annalisa (head of the room) immediately makes you feel in a familiar environment despite the elegance of the context. The rest of the staff is certainly no exception. What can I say, I will definitely be back! Price compared to the service and quality offered. The cappuccino dish with brioches is absolutely worth trying!

16/03/2024: We didn't have lunch but the location is very well looked after, lots of natural wood and a welcoming and bright environment, the staff very kind and professional.

06/04/2024: In the center of the beautiful jewel of the Dolomites region, Cortina D’Anpezzo, a restaurant that is super worth it. Perfect food from starter to dessert, including the wonderful white wine we chose. The specialty is Italian food, of course, very well and executed, with few excellent ingredients, which could only translate into good food of great quality. Maintains quality in all dishes and preparations (which, let's face it, is difficult in most places). Unmissable and an extraordinary surprise in Italy

30/03/2024: This is a must for dinner in Cortina! We arrived right at 7 but could have arrived a bit later, filled in though by 8 or so the night we visited. My partner had the lasagna and said it was the best they've ever had!!! Staff were friendly, good wine, and lots of smiles. Will be back!

16/03/2024: Let me start by saying that we only had lunch and did not stay overnight. The environments are wonderful and alone would be worth a visit. The dishes we chose are very good. The prices are adequate for the whole, therefore not cheap.

01/04/2024: Sublime! Exceptional location with views of the Dolomites. Obsessive attention to detail, what makes the difference between eating out and having an experience. Very friendly, attentive and expert staff accompanied us during lunch with smiles and beautiful stories. Dishes that convey the Chef's profound knowledge and incredible skill. Processing of raw materials at the highest levels. Unforgettable lunch!

14/03/2024: 5 stars for the food, all good dishes, some exceptional (the lamb in two courses for example or the glass strudel). The two entrées were also very welcome, the small pastries offered were nothing exceptional. unfortunately we need to work on the service, although the waiters are all very kind and helpful, the level is not up to the level of the restaurant. they didn't serve water to all the diners, they kept walking past to offer cutlery and serve the dishes, we waited a long time to have the wine,...in short, from a restaurant with one star you expect the service to be of excellent quality. another level and there are no such basic errors. probably all also accentuated by less than optimal space management (some diners were actually seated in places that were impossible for those serving the dishes to reach).

06/03/2024: This place can't quite decide if it is a luxury boutique hotel or an upmarket restaurant. The rooms we had were superb with wonderful views of forest and mountain from the French windows which opened onto secluded terraces. The bathrooms were tasteful with extra privacy for the toilet. Excellent shower and steam equipment. Linen changed every day which was a nice touch. There is a good ski room available to guests. On a more critical note, the rooms were exceedingly hot and I was unable to turn the thermostat down below 25C. Even then it kept resetting to 28C! The restaurant is very popular for lunch and dinner which means there is no space for a guest lounge. Après-ski or pre-dinner drinks are a little uncomfortable as a result. This may be less of an issue in summer when some covers can be arranged on the large terrace. Evening meals are excellent and great choice of wine too. Spa facilities are superb with a really great heated outdoor pool which we enjoyed most nights even when snowing! Despite the ski room, this hotel is not best suited to those wanting to get on the slopes early. Breakfast must be ordered by 6pm the night before, the choice is not huge but the quality is good. However this arrangement encourages over ordering and wasted food. Breakfast service itself is not available until 8am. Ski lift access is really only easy if you are driving or prepared to take taxis each morning. Buses are possible and there is a stop just outside the hotel but services are not that regular, particularly when it is snowing. We did discover it is possible to access one piste directly from the number 5 bus by getting off at Cadelverzo Nuova and walking around the corner. Then ski down to the Tofana lift. Alternatively get off at Ronco-bivio Cadelverzo (apparently in the middle of nowhere) cross over the road and wait for a number 3 bus to take you to Socrepes lift. Overall we had a fantastic stay here despite a few niggles. The concierge was extremely helpful whenever we had requests. The rooms we had were wonderful and the evening meals were delicious.

16/02/2024: L’ospitalità Ampezzana non è sicuramente qui, direi più la vergogna di Cortina. Io e mio marito abbiamo casa a Cortina e la frequentiamo assiduamente, un atteggiamento schifoso di questo tipo non lo abbiamo mai visto da nessuna parte. Siamo venuti a pranzo con il nostro golden, un cane tranquillo che è stato giù tutto il pranzo. Tutto bene fino a quando si è alzato e si è allontanato mezzo metro dal tavolo, sfortuna vuole che vicino c’era la porta e il proprietario del ristorante è inciampato SENZA CADERE ne farsi male. Ha esclamato “porca p..tana tr..a” per tutto il ristorante. Una reazione davvero esagerata per quello che era accaduto, davvero un niente, poiché non aveva neanche piatti in mano per fortuna. Sono solita scusarmi anche più del dovuto per l’accaduto e ho chiesto “tutto bene?” , il prorprietario prontamente mi risponde “mi paga lei se mi faccio male? Lo tenga sotto il tavolo e basta sto cane”. Rispondo “siamo assicurati e anche il cane non si preoccupi, la pago io”. Noi siamo proprietari di hotel e ristorante nella riviera romagnola, da noi una maleducazione e un atteggiamento così è blasfemia. Un ristorante che vuole essere di livello, dove a capodanno con amici abbiamo speso solo 150 euro di coperto, non può permettersi uno schifo di atteggiamento così.

16/03/2024: I ate an appetizer with speck and cheese followed by a second course of polenta and venison stew. To finish I had a very good dessert, the "Sgroppino", all really excellent!

26/03/2024: A very pleasant hotel with a great atmosphere. Very good dinner, very nice staff. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains over prosecco 😁. The hotel is close to the boarding station of the cable car.
