06/04/2024: I think I found the best pizza in the area! We had dinner... the pizza is excellent... the fried food is exceptional... the staff is helpful, kind and friendly. Highly recommended!!

01/04/2024: Rooms are very nice and spacious. Some have shared large big terrace. No gym inside hotel, the SPA with thai massages is always very busy. Book as soon as u arrive or on the day you book the hotel. Same day booking is impossible! The breakfast is good with a lot of variety. Gluten free available we had rice cakes, fruit musli and some croissants. Then the rest which is naturally not containing gluten but with all the rest. The fruit selection was very good.. with fresh sliced fruit daily and on our first day we had pears with cinnamon (freshly prepared by obe of the waiting staff) Cappuccino with lactose free milk was good and they had soya options too. The breakfast area is nice in the morning with a good view over the lake. The first night we had an evening meal and this was a little disappointing. The waiting staff were ok but could have done with a little more guidance although they looked busy being 2. We had the hotel menu meal. The choice forst first was good with plenty of the thai options. We had pad thai chicken and another shrimp and these were good. The second plates was were it went a little off, we had a scorfna (fish name listed on the menu) and the waiter brought it over he didn't know what fish it was.. giving it a name and asking us if that was it. It was on its own on the plate, would have been great if on ordering the waiter asked if we wanted any sides or veg since the plate had just a thin steak of this white fish right in the middle and that was it. We also had a thai chicken curry which was tasty but the white rice on its side must have been prepared way before because half of the rice stuck together just as if it was plastic rice. Plain Rice should be so simple to prepare for any thai restaurant.. so this was a little disappointing. The highlight, although with a struggle was the the wine selection. We were brought a menu with a page at the back listed as singles which was a very interesting list of last bottles. When the waiter came and we asked for one of the bottles he stated this was an old list. (So why would it be in the menu if at least not reviewed once a week? - maybe easier to get it out of the menu and have it as a single list to be handed extra) Anyway we were told the head waiter would need to check for us so we asked for either 1 or another. After we finished the first plate the wine arrived. The waiter looked satisfied.. he seemed happy to have found the bottle and to be honest we were very happy too.. because it was a really good wine! Overall it was a good stay and the breakfast was very cobsistent. For the second night we decided to go eat somewhere else .. maybe they were too busy getting ready for Easter the night before!
