04/03/2024: After booking we were seated between other tables. Very narrow place and promptly refused. The first courses arrived but then I had to turn to the bartender to get the cheese.
The side dishes arrived lukewarm 10 minutes before the grill.
Meat cooked quickly, dry on the outside and not fully cooked on the inside.
Inadequate staff.
A first course and a second course with side dishes 35 euros.
We don't plan on going back.
03/03/2024: The food is excellent, simple homemade but the grilled meat is special, the atmosphere is old but it doesn't matter!

26/12/2023: Locale carino, soprattutto la parte esterna, poco parcheggio ma non distante so trova posto davanti alla chiesa.
Cena tra amici, menù concordato ma se devo dire di essere rimasto entusiasta, no!
Buono il risotto con funghi e zucca; rimandate le pappardelle al cinghiale, sugo molto asciutto e pappardelle leggermente scotte; bocciati i bigoli con ragù di anatra.
Grigliata senza ne arte ne parte, abbondante ma non proprio il top.
Dolci della casa semplici
Buono il vino.
05/11/2023: Dopo tanto torno al Combattente, storico locale di Gambugliano. Un ottimo antipasto con una tartare davvero buona . Funghi e polenta sono sempre top . Fettuccine al tartufo buone (forse un po’ asciutte) e i classici bigoli con l’arna ( da 10) e per finire la grigliata mista con contorni è un filetto maiale forse troppo cotto. Porzioni generose , gustose e ben preparate . Mediamente si spende circa 25€ a testa . Unico difetto importante i tempi troppo troppo lunghi . . ( più di due ore !!)
