The quality of the dishes is excellent and worthy of a Michelin star. The combination of flavors is innovative, while remaining faithful to tradition. The staff was kind and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended!

Fermati questi per caso per pranzo a un orario quasi da chiusura siamo stati accolti molto con calore e un grande sorriso. Scelta azzeccata, cibo superlativo come il servizio e il locale. Se siete a Orvieto andate e ne rimarrete estasiati

Abituali frequentatori di Orvieto, siamo tornati dopo un po’ di tempo al Capitano del Popolo. Il locale è curato ed accogliente. La cucina si rifa’ alla tradizione con qualche tocco di originalità. Buone le materie prime e piatti cucinati con attenzione. Abbastanza buona la cantina. Una menzione speciale per il servizio puntuale e gentile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo interessante. Consigliato senz’altro.

Friendly and helpful staff (even in recognizing small errors on the bill), good and particular choice of dishes with certainly selected raw materials but, for me, a little lacking in flavor (but this is obviously a personal opinion). The choice of wines is also good

Ottima scoperta , pranzato con tutta la famiglia .. piatti ricercati e molto buoni , personale educato e cordiale .. ma troppo lento nel servizio… causa affollamento clienti! Ma lo consiglio!!

22/05/2024: We accidentally stumbled onto this restaurant during a recent visit to Orvieto. We were there for three days and had at least two meals a day while we were there. This restaurant was the best of the bunch, Alessandra was so kind and food was delicious! Highly recommend!
20/05/2024: Very good meal and very appreciable service! I recommend the wild boar pappardelle!
