30/03/2024: I'm sorry, but we're absolutely not there, Andreina's soul has disappeared. Terrible, awkward, impalpable service, no one to serve wine, no attention to detail, more complex menu, I left almost hungry. Everything smoked. All. The dessert is almost sickening, I think and I'm very sorry.

All the service is attentive.. The wait staff is super!!!!
Barbecued reigns.... It's their strong point and the barbecued spaghetti is incredible!!
Everything is excellent and you pay what you have to pay in some restaurants.
I don't remember the name of the girl in the room.... But she is the height of friendliness!
Thank you and we will always come back for our special dinners!!

29/05/2024: This was one of our most memorable meals in Sicily. We ate Al fresco on the pedestrianised street. The food was superb, modern and stylishly presented, and the service warm and professional. The crudo plate was sensational as was all the seafood. It was the only place that we chose to have the local roast pork, very nice indeed. The maitre d’ offered after-dinner granitas made by himself. We could have sworn they had vanilla in them, but he promised there was nothing but water, sugar and the deliciously fragrant local lemons.
28/05/2024: Crudo platter (raw fish) was AMAZING! Other dishes were solid (stuffed herring and cocoa tagliatelle).

02/05/2024: Wonderful restaurant with top food, wine and friendly service in a quiet setting. The dishes are beautifully prepared and exquisite tasting. We tried their pork and lamb focused set and were really impressed with the quality of the ingredients.

However, in my opinion the price/performance ratio is modest (e.g. €8 for a glass of house wine).

Yes, it's really worth traveling a few miles to enjoy exceptional dishes... the owner is good and good at cooking!!💪

The owner, Mr. Paolo with his wife, manages everything impeccably: he is always very helpful, kind and professional. Absolutely recommended location. To try!

06/04/2024: COMPLIMENTS. We had dinner and felt pampered by the excellent food, the excellent quality raw materials, the way and the technique of knowing how to transform them into a pleasant experience for the palate.
Embraced in a delicate and friendly way by the kindness of Francesco and the dining room staff.
The wines they produce are excellent.
Surprising value for money...
We were very happy and will definitely be back.

30/03/2024: Siamo stati ai Girasoli di Sant'Andrea perché conoscevamo ed apprezziamo già un altro ristorante della stessa proprietà (Casa Corsetti). La qualità del cibo è eccellente a dir poco, la location "country chic" molto bella, il personale gentile. Tuttavia, almeno quando siamo stati noi (a pranzo il sabato prima di Pasqua) abbiamo notato carenze nel servizio, molto lento e disorganizzato, anche se tutto il personale è molto gentile, ma si vedeva che non riusciva a stare dietro a tutti i tavoli e ne soffriva la tempistica e la qualità della relazione col cliente. Lo diciamo come suggerimento per migliorare, perché davvero il ristorante merita più di una visita! Torneremo sicuramente presto per godere del bellissimo spazio all'aperto.

And a truly exceptional hostess. Efficient smiling in short a very pleasant moment.

The cellar is excellent, with honest prices. Always attentive and discreet service in a chic environment. Absolutely worth trying.

Pur essendomi presentata senza prenotare e ben oltre l'orario "canonico" della cena sono stata accolta con estrema gentilezza. Ho provato gli spiedini di gamberi... favolosi, le alici ripiene superlative e poi...il "Cappon Magro" immortalato in foto. Un'opera d'arte che mi dispiaceva "scomporre" ma che una volta addentato ha rivelato un favoloso mix di sapori! Strati di pesce bianco legati perfettamente a strati di verdure attraverso diverse salsine. Tornerò senza dubbio....ci sono tante altre proposte molto interessanti nel menú! Bravissimi! 👏👏👏

"Homemade" management, a small but welcoming place and the rest of the dishes are truly superlative!
We were there on a Saturday for lunch as we were already out and about and because we love tartare, it made us a little sad to see that we were the only two people for at least an hour and a half, where the food is very good...
Very fresh raw materials, of excellent quality and properly prepared! For a lover of meat and non-everyday tastes, it is a little paradise.
Very kind and friendly, we will definitely return and with more people!
