I like the food served, especially great pasta (loved with pepper flakes and ricotta). The staff rather nice, however there is a strange custom that outside seats are only available after reservation even when all free. The prices for main dishes are decent, but for some appetisers it was a rip-off, particularly this one that was not ordered. The ambience is local and quite good, but local music would be appreciated. Overall good choice if you want to eat in Sassi.

Excellent quick meal with Lucanian specialties: crusco pepper, bread meatballs, grilled caciocavallo. Everything was excellent, even wine (Aglianico) and coffee

Characteristic internal environment but for few diners. There is also the possibility of dining outside in the warmer months. We ate well and were served attentively. The bill is in line with other facilities in the surrounding area.

We found this bistro by chance while wandering around the historic center of Matera. We were thrilled with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. We ate excellent dishes prepared with local specialties (bread meatballs, bran peppers, orecchiette....). Sincere compliments to the chef and all the staff.

06/04/2024: Last night we took a sensorial journey into the flavors of local tradition, in a spectacular location. The cocktails, the delicacies prepared by the chef Enzo with local products and all carefully selected, combined with excellent wines, the impeccable service, gave us unique emotions in an enchanted place.
