After we had a really good breakfast yesterday at the Elk bakery garden, today we went to the other Elk bakery in Verona. It's a shame that we're leaving Verona today... The food and service as well as the ambience are so great, I would become a regular here☺️

Despite having a reservation, there were no available tables upon arrival. Service was slow, with water not delivered, and the pancakes arrived cold. The wait for food was long, and ordering chocolate drink resulted in receiving literal chocolate warmed up, not a drink. A hint/warning would have been helpful.

Excellent "non-Italian" breakfasts. Pancakes, eggs and bacon, bagels etc etc.
Excellent portions, excellent quality, nothing to complain about. The brunch formula is also excellent with a menu that can be composed in different formats depending on how hungry you are.

We were there 2 days ago but only now I found time to write here. First of all, great service, whoever approached us was friendly and very helpful. We were there with 3 children, including two very small ones, and we didn't feel any discomfort.
When it comes to food, this is how sandwiches should be prepared. Fresh and highest quality ingredients. The “Lakers” sandwich is perfection for me. I would highly recommend.
Next time I will ask you for the recipe for the dressing 😉

This branch of Elk Bakery is less busy than the one in the historic town of Verona just across the Ponte della Vittoria (but is also smaller). They serve excellent breakfast, brunch or lunch. A must-visit during your stay in Verona.
