Hot Chili is THE MEXICAN of Reggio Emilia. The first and original. There is no one from the 90s onwards who hasn't been through it at least once. Greg and Ciga are safe. For me it's always like returning to a safe haven. Great drinks and great food

Good place to eat Mexican food, if well it is not exactly the same if it resembles them a lot, they have a good variety of plan in the menu and the courses are of a good amount of food. Very good drinks with a huge variety of choices, the waiters recommend typical Mexican cocktails or the one you prefer. As a place, if it is full it can be a bit narrow and confusing but there is certainly a beautiful atmosphere of celebration, music and good humor. The prices seem fair to me for what you eat in the place, one of the best Mexican dishes I've tasted in the area; I went there twice and will definitely go back in the future. Very friendly and fun staff, always in a good mood and friendly with customers.

Stop before 8pm for a mandatory Uragano cocktail (Happy hour), very good food but prices a bit above average

Representative place of the Reggio Emilia nightlife for 30 years. Mexican is a certainty. Excellent cocktails and food, warm and particular atmosphere.

Always nice to spend time here... excellent cocktails... the Rebecca and the Hurricane remain the musts of the place for me... the staff is top!!!!

Esiste in Italia un ristorante messicano vero? Ma attenzione non sto parlando di un messicano da centro commerciale come se ne vedono tanti in giro…. Sto parlando dell’Hot Chili storico e infinito locale in via Caggiati, famoso anche per il cocktail uragano poi scopiazzato dal resto dei locali della provincia. Il cibo e’ quello vero messicano cucinato come la tradizione, non troverai tortillas confezionate sbattute nel piatto dalla scatola ma vere e proprie lavorazioni come i tacos, arrotolati e fritti, o le fajtas cucinate con una speciale ricetta che ne esalta i sapori , rigorosamente servite con la terrina infuocata. Ottimo e inimitabili gli amigos e le cipolle fritte ovviamente confezionate entrambe artigianalmente. Tutto questo non e’ gratis sia chiaro i prezzi sono superiori a quelli di un fast food messicano da centro commerciale come se ne vedono tanti, ma questo invece e’ un ristorante ricordatelo! Sono stato in Messico e nella zona meridionale degli USA e posso garantire che i messicani nemmeno si avvicinano. Garanzia di grande cucina ma attenzione non fare entrare nel locale i cani!
