I have always seen the "Caminetto" sign passing through the main street of Castel Maggiore. One day, finding myself in the area, I decide to indulge myself and go to this place for lunch. The external area is large, usable, I suppose, even in the winter period as it can be completely closed. If you are expecting a "high" level venue, this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you prefer a "simple" place without particular pretensions, you will be very happy. We opted for the fish. Mixed hot and cold starter, mixed grill. Nothing elaborate but perfect for an informal lunch.

Buon locale che serve prettamente pesce, servizio veloce e cordiale. Il locale forse avrebbe bisogno di una rinnovata ma comunque le pietanze erano buone. Una nota sulla mortadella dell'antipasto, sembrava estremamente fredda, quasi ghiacciata, lo riferisco affinché il gestore possa verificare. Molto buono il sorbetto a chiusura del pasto

Molto soddisfatto dal rapporto qualità prezzo, c'è l'hanno suggerita una coppia di amici. Pizze molto buone e buon servizio. Consiglio vivamente.

Mi avevano parlato bene di questo ristorante dove poter mangiare bene il pesce, evidentemente chi me l’ha consigliato non ha mai mangiato del pesce divinamente, mi spiace, per me è out!

03/01/2024: Cena buona, semplice ma curata, servizio scrupoloso e attento, ambiente famigliare, con lampade particolari, libri, poltrone, ma non casinista, anzi ordinato e pulito, caldo e accogliente. Prezzi convenienti. Purtroppo sono andato in una piovosa serata invernale e non ho potuto apprezzare la struttura da fuori, non ho capito la posizione ma ci tornerò con piacere per vederlo di giorno.
13/11/2023: Direi che per i miei gusti, è un posto in cui ritorno molto volentieri, ti senti a casa , arredamento non scontato e molto bello, con particolari che affascinano, eravamo nella sala dove una piccola stufa a legna scaldava piacevolmente l'ambiente.Ho mangiato molto bene e nulla da dire sul servizio..cortese ed efficace.

Very pleasant experience from the first contacts, we booked the Caskets of Venus a few days before by telephone. Staff really helpful, smiling and welcoming! The parmigiana is also notable.
