30/03/2024: Everything was fabulous, the recommended wine that accompanied us throughout the 8-course tasting was excellent. We arrived later than the reservation due to a work emergency, but we were still welcomed wonderfully, we felt pampered.

04/03/2024: Ritorniamo da Massimiliano Poggi a cena dopo un pò di tempo dall'ultima volta e anche stavolta la serata è stata perfetta. Accoglienza e servizio ottimi, atmosfera rilassante, un posto che raccomando a chi vuole trascorrere una bella serata in un posto in cui si sta bene. Ottimo il porro bruciato e sensazionale il profiterole. Degna di nota la ormai celebre Insalata russa, unico appunto è sulle quantità di alcuni piatti che sono davvero minime. Graditissima la sorpresa di un dessert con tanto di candelina per il mio compleanno. Grazie!

I have never been disappointed and have been going there for years with friends, clients and colleagues. Fish options also available. Wide choice of wines. Excellent helpful friendly staff. Reservation strongly recommended!

29/03/2024: Esperienza indimenticabile che abbiamo bissato. Prima volta a ottobre e di ritorno ieri. Esperienza bella e nutriente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Ogni assaggio è sapore e ricordo nel ragù della mia terra. Troppo buona la spuma d’aglio, al secondo posto tutto il resto perché era tutto stra buono. Personale di sala top di gamma. Sommelier ( una chicca). Non ha sbagliato un colpo! Abbinamenti perfetti. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente perfetto!

25/03/2024: This restaurant is absolutely stunning. From the welcome to our departure everything was impeccable. Michelin need to get in their car visit. They could not have visited otherwise they would rate it three stars. It outperforms any three star restaurants in London save, perhaps for Clare Smyth. The food is perfectly cooked and sublimely presented to the table. This chef is at the top of his profession with flavours that hit you in the mouth. Sauces are well balanced and enhance the disk rather than confuse and muddy the flavour. Don’t leave Bologna without visiting. In fact it is so near the airport it should be your first stop. Forget the ‘Towers’ go here!

21/04/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante con degli amici, ottimi gli antipasti di affettati crescentine e tigelle. Crescentune asciutte e non intrise d'olio come capita spesso in altri posti. Primi eccellenti, dalle taglietelle al ragu', ai tortellini e alle caramelle ( veramente primo top). Ottimo l'entrée di benvenuto, veramente gradito. Secondi di carne ottimi veramente eccezionali, la carne era un burro. Ottima scelta e giusto prezzo per quello che si e' mangiato

21/12/2023: Honestly, quality/price never seen in Bologna. I took a still water, 4 dumplings, Cantonese rice and a steamed Chinese bread and paid 9.50 euros. Then they are very friendly and the environment is clean and quiet

23/04/2024: I have always seen the "Caminetto" sign passing through the main street of Castel Maggiore. One day, finding myself in the area, I decide to indulge myself and go to this place for lunch. The external area is large, usable, I suppose, even in the winter period as it can be completely closed. If you are expecting a "high" level venue, this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you prefer a "simple" place without particular pretensions, you will be very happy. We opted for the fish. Mixed hot and cold starter, mixed grill. Nothing elaborate but perfect for an informal lunch.

25/04/2024: We have to go back!! Nostalgic environment very reminiscent of the eighties with lots of Bolognese quality and tradition. As soon as we entered we were greeted cordially and sat down. We were offered a selection of first courses, five in total, made following the historical recipes of the owner's grandmother. We had a great time. Tidy and welcoming environment. An experience to repeat with friends and relatives!

14/02/2024: Bellissima serata! La location è quella di un ristorante di un hotel frequentato sopratutto da lavoratori. Il cibo e la cordialità del proprietario e del personale sono davvero unici. Se volete mangiare le specialità bolognesi in atmosfera informale e cordiale questo è il posto giusto! Prezzi più che contenuti. Il bollito strepitoso come anche le salse, il purè e il friggione. Ci torneremo. Grazie ancora per il calore e la disponibilità.
