Quite a small restaurant in one of the many small alleys. It is clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming. We found the service a little slow (but that may have been because we are used to London) but they spoke English well and were very friendly. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. All of our dishes were of a reasonable size (neither too big, nor too small). I would certainly go back.

Amamos tudo o que escolhemos: de entrada o beef tartare com batata rosti; de prato principal o nhoque de ragu de pato e o talharim cacio e pepe com scampi; e de sobremesa a panna cotta com frutas vermelhas. Recomendo reservar. Experiência maravilhosa.

Il Covo delle Sirene 1994

18/05/2024: Visiting Al Covo was one of the main stops in Venice, having planned it well ahead of time. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and out. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful in making food and wine selections. Presentation was nothing short of artistic and the taste was even greater. So glad we were able to visit!
17/05/2024: We had the 7 course meal and every dish was delicious and showed the best of local fish and produce. The highlight was the raw Adriatic Sea prawn - the butteriest raw fish I have ever had… quite mindboggling

17/03/2024: Whoever gave this restaurant less than 5 stars is probably jealous. Best pizza in my life so far.
10/03/2024: Tried this truly delicious "restaurant" by chance. First of all I would like to praise the welcome and kindness. You feel truly "taken care of". Our meal was quick so we tried a few courses but everything was very pleasant and well looked after even in the presentation. The predominant choice is fish with many offers of fresh and local products. We will return and recommend it. Parking right in front of the restaurant which is back from the road.
