First time at the La Barrique Restaurant in Santa Croce di Boretto. We had high expectations given by the reviews and friends who recommended it to us. "Family" environment, the restaurant is a converted house/villa and it fits, but it seemed a little too spartan to me. the level of cuisine and consequently the prices are medium/high level so I was hoping for more characterization in the place. really great service! We will definitely be back to try other dishes, which are the ones that really count in the end and the food is good here! 😊

The perfect place to taste excellent fish cooked with care and served with excellent dishes to bring out the 5 senses. Very professional waiters, kind and ready to satisfy every customer's need. A true and authentic discovery in a small village like Boretto... 5 well-deserved stars.

First time and there will certainly be others.
Simple exterior, managed interior with large spaces. Really excellent quality of raw materials, minimally processed fish is essential for me; a very interesting and assorted wine list. Good service, much appreciated and never predictable bitterness offered at checkout.

Excellent restaurant, slightly limited menu, excellent wine list, impeccable service, some flaws appear out of place for an ambitious establishment (services only with cold water in January and not heated, condiments on the table with mediocre and inadequate oil, it cannot be explained by the infinite number of companies producing national oil that is the envy of the whole world, and a final surprise, with dinner almost finished...a cloud of unpleasant vapors comes out of the kitchen and invades the dining room for the last joke of the evening) ...something remains to be improved...
