What can we say about this historic restaurant, always friendly and welcoming. The food is always good, you can never go wrong here. Simple menu, not many courses but always of good quality. Recommended

Nice discovery, caliendo tavern, excellent dishes, I have the feeling that they want to give a gourmet twist to the dishes but when tasted they were very good. The location doesn't lie, a wonderful place and easily accessible.

Osteria da Caliendo is a solid point for me, when I decide I want to eat well and go without fail it is the first choice! The location is very nice, welcoming and has a wonderful view (precisely for this reason, if you can, I recommend going there for lunch to admire the view). The staff is very courteous and helpful, very attentive to customers and their needs and know how to advise well in case of indecision. I advise you to book because there are not many seats and it is often always full, so improvised meals may not be the best choice in this case. From starters to desserts you are spoiled for choice, for me everything is delicious and above all the raw materials are excellent which is no small feat because this ensures that there is an excellent quality-price ratio. Whether you are as a couple or in a group, I highly recommend you go if you have never been, you won't regret it.

È stata la nostra prima volta in questo locale e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo pranzato nel cortile interno, bello e confortevole poiché dotato di stufe, gustando pietanze dagli accostamenti insoliti ma ben calibrati. Torneremo certamente per approfondire

Locale posto tra un cortile ed uno spazio coperto di una vecchia casa, probabilmente, di pescatori. Atmosfera di altri tempi, ma con cucina moderna. Qualità eccellente, ottima "fantasia" nei piatti con abbinamenti diversi, ma molto validi. Servizio cordiale, prezzi corrispondenti al servizio ed alla qualità.

19/03/2024: ...and we decided to celebrate Father's Day in this beautiful trattoria in Posillipo... Parking (with motorbike) is very simple...with cars much less... As a positive note, we would like to point out the absence of the official parking attendant (illegal...obviously)... Pricey and crowded place....but even without a reservation they manage to seat us....(two of us, my son and me...) ...well...everything served was excellent...but the pumpkin and sausage gnocchi were truly refined and delicious...even the paccheri alla pescatora left an excellent memory... The fried food is good and not greasy... They really know what they're doing in the kitchen.... Desserts acceptable... just forget the "wine".... Commendable staff The only negative note is the overcrowding...really too many tables for the space available....another small trick should also be noted...the tables are smaller than standard...perhaps with a view to making them fit better in the small space available... Remarkable quality-price ratio....but I imagine the bedlam of Saturday evening or Sunday lunch..... Anyway.. Definitely coming back

04/04/2024: An enchanting place, one of the most beautiful in the world. Unique elegant and refined atmosphere. Excellent service and delicious food. The medium-high price suited to the experience.
03/04/2024: Panoramic and suggestive position, excellent and particular food. Important wine list. Prices in line with the quality of the food. Room a little dark for a graduation party, but given the "romantic" location, that's fine.
