A superb lunch in a lovely, rustic dining room with friendly and helpful staff. Standouts were the creamed salt cod starter and my parpadelle with rabbit and artichokes. Also very good value for money. Wish I'd taken some photos but was too busy eating. A brilliant find just a few minutes walk from the centre - highly recommended.

From the outside the place doesn't look particularly nice, but once inside you discover a much cleaner and more well-kept environment, despite the tables and chairs being a little old and noisy. The dishes are good and the restaurant manages to create quite unusual and particular flavor combinations, however I find that the portions are a bit small. I would therefore recommend taking a first and second course, or a starter instead of one of the two. I instead address a slight criticism to the service, which I found slow. I can understand if food is delayed by complex preparation. But here we are also talking about delays in taking orders or bringing water. Furthermore, I found the waiter to be sometimes kind, sometimes meticulous. Rudely taking the trouble to correct the position of my napkin or plate. In fact, he wanted to correct me, moving the plate from my place to that of the person next to me, stating that "the plate should have been put there". I'll know who eats what, right? And in case I'm wrong, I think I can correct it.
However, the dinner was satisfying

I was there for lunch and I must say that everything was perfect, far beyond my expectations. The place is very beautiful and characteristic and the dishes are exceptional, all with impeccable service.
Oh I forgot... the bill... absolutely adequate. Unquestionable price quality. It was a shame to have to leave again as I would have loved another lunch here.

Traditional rustic place just the way I like it! Evening spent in the company of friends pleasantly spent tasting what the restaurant offers. Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn't give 5 stars even though I was in doubt because I didn't like all the dishes on the menu equally, everything was excellent but perhaps I was expecting something more.

The tavern is located about 500 meters from the center. The staff is very helpful. The dishes, typical of Ferrara, are excellent.

Dinner when Ferrara is at its hottest and you enter a restaurant that is cool, a good start to a dinner.
Ate a very good and pleasant dinner. Good ingredients and flavors. The wine was wonderful as was the Amaro. The service was impeccable, the staff unobtrusive but helpful. Will be happy to return.

È il mio ristorante preferito a Ferrara , dove la concorrenza è notevole.
Qui la qualità del cibo è ottima,I primi ( fantastici sia i cappellacci che le tagliatelle) , la qualità della carne ( guancia di manzo brasata difficile cucinarla meglio di così), che I dolci. Ottima carta dei vini e prezzi onesti.
L'atmosfera è calda , informale e non sembra certo un osteria. Non riesco a trovare un difetto. Personale gentile e servizio veloce.A Milano per una cena così devi andare su ristoranti da stella Michelin.
