Typical Caserta restaurant in the midst of nightlife, with excellent traditional Campania food. The owner at the tables is super friendly and attentive. Really honest prices.....super recommended

We ate really well, the man who served us was welcoming, and we had no trouble communicating with him. At lunchtime he has ready-made menus for only €10 with two courses. Really go for it.

small restaurant in the center of Caserta a few steps from the cathedral characterized by the possibility of a quick business or tourist lunch for 10 euros (excluding wine) with a choice between two first and two second courses.... you eat, obviously, à la carte with a wide choice of traditional local dishes with top-notch and zero-kilometre ingredients....
you can park nearby in Piazza Vanvitelli with a scratcher or in the market square. pay attention to the Ztl traffic lights which in the past had created some confusion with the wordings....

Excellent tavern with full exaltation of local flavors. The dishes are generous and truly reminiscent of the warmth of family meals, for example in the bread baked with beans and broccoli. The starters are very good, such as the rude bread and the parmigiana revisited with raw mozzarella; The first courses are really interesting, vermicelli first and foremost. I recommend focusing on tradition, to try it at its best and without frills. Generous wine list for the restaurant, especially the reds.

Lunch on the fly in Caserta. Following the advice of other reviewers we stopped at this tavern. The mixed pasta with potatoes and provolone is good as is the broccoli, but the sausage is a little less so, too fatty. Excellent cured meats and cheeses. The place is nice although perhaps a little too cold and not very "tavern". Good price considering the 2 glasses of wine and being practically on the main course.

Serata inaspettata. Appena entrati ci si sente subito a casa. Il menù lo guardi ma poi ti fai consigliare dal patron e fai certamente la scelta giusta Plauso per gli antipasti tutti, dalla melanzana con mozzarella su corstino al pancotto passando per scarole e fagioli tutti molto buoni, anche il baccalà mantecato era buono ma non all'altezza degli altri antipasti a mio avviso. I primi mi sono piaciuti molto, la pasta e patate con la provola era buona ma gli avrei dato una spinta di sapidità in più. Coniglio all'ischitana, premesso che il coniglio non lo mangio, ma ho assaggiato le patate ed il sugo e devo dire che erano molto buone. Sul dolce mi sarei aspettato qualcosina in più, la millefoglie è il mio dolce preferito e quello assaggiato non era all'altezza delle portate che l'hanno preceduto. Comunque ci ritornerò Bellissima serata Prezzi assolutamente abbordabili rispetto alla tipologia e qualità dei prodotti offerti.

Esternamente forse non ci sarei mai entrato se non fossi stato invitato da amici del posto.
Cucina ottima (gli antipasti sono eccezionali, in primis una frittata di cipolle da urlo) così come i primi piatti (personalmente ho preso una pasta e patate da favole).
Il servizio è discreto e mai invadente, cosa che dà al locale un'ulteriore motivo per essere sperimentato in totale serenità e con tempi umani, da relax.
