Nice place to try something interesting, but more expensive - 150euro for 2.

Excellent restaurant to discover in Courmayeur. From the welcome to the dessert, everything was perfect. We quickly see that the cook is passionate about his job. Each dish was a clever blend of flavors, original, very beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The sommelier (son of the family) very professionally advised us on the wine to match our dishes. All this in a room with stone vaults, very warmly appointed. A very good time for us this Saturday evening.

The food is delicious, the steaks, pasta and appetizers are all delicious It’s delicious. Highly recommended. Be sure to make a reservation before heading there.

Restaurant Pierre Alexis 1877 Courmayeur - Amazing mix of different food materials - while dishes/food with strong flavour are definitely tasty, e.g. pate with macaron, caviar, red meat..., the dishes tasted less strong are absolutely fascinating and creative, and must be tasted slowly to feel the synergy (e.g. the appetizer of poultry with warm potato juice)! - the bread tasted wonderful - had tried pigeon as the main course, absolutely marvellous! - no matter how, don't miss the desserts. the smoothness of gelato suggested the use of a lot of fresh product and great effort and determination to get the best - about the service, the staff looked serious but were very professional. As the restaurant was not totally full on the night i patronized (due to the very end of winter season), Egon (son of Monica the owner ) had time to explain to me that another staff might not fully understood English so the response might be a bit cold. For me, English is not mother tongue as well, I fully accepted and understood. Also, in a famous restaurant with guests from many different countries, I reckon different staff speaking different languages is very reasonable. Also, I fully accepted that there should not be one and only one standard of service quality. - The restaurant is absolutely amazing, thanks to the Chef Stefano and all the kitchen staff, Monica the gorgeous lady and Egon the caring younger generation and his team of staff. - Everything was fantastic and I wish to visit again and again with more friends. (not sure if have luck to reserve a table then, haha, but i will try)

Excellent restaurant among many self-proclaimed "typical" proposals of very variable quality. I found some truly exceptional first courses, second courses perhaps of a more traditional nature but always executed with perfect technique and top raw materials. Excellent wine selection, friendly and quick service even when the place is full. Correct price for the quality (60-100€ per person on average).

📝 Very good food in this restaurant in Courmayeur despite a service slightly below expectations for being on the Michelin guide. 🍴 I tried a plate of winter vegetables as a starter: good and well presented. The tagliatelle with meat sauce were excellent. The larded beef fillet was also very good. The portions were right in my opinion. The dessert was also excellent. 📍 The restaurant is located in the center of Courmayeur and the furnishings are elegant and pleasant.

Superb restaurant with amazing food and service.

Mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio, i piatti della tradizione vengono rivisitati con delle sperimentazioni non sempre riuscite. Bisogna che scelgano se virare verso il ristorante gourmet oppure rimanere nel solco della tradizione valdostana. Da segnalare in senso negativo che, pur avendo prenotato con due settimane di anticipo, ci è stato assegnato un tavolo dalla posizione non proprio felice…

Ottimo menu’ e piatti davvero notevoli. La valle d’Aosta con influenze fashion. Una cucina sostanziosa ma molto digeribile. Davvero bene. Ottima lista vini
