Populista - Sfizi e Tigelle In Reggio nell'emilia

Before writing the review I have eaten in this place several times, the food is good and of excellent quality, it does not meet my highest rating for the pairings: for example the second course of meat with a sauce not requested and not listed together with spinach which did not match the type of second course at all. Very good but very expensive blobs. Courteous but disorganized service, paradoxically it was more efficient when there was only one waiter who had to serve everyone than the last time where there were many but something was always missing at the tables. The acoustics of the venue are not the best. I will go back and recommend it, perhaps more for the gnocco and tigelle than for the rest.

We entered two Saturday evenings ago asking for a table, we were immediately satisfied, the cured meat accompanied by tigelle and fried gnocco of the same quality was excellent, the staff were helpful and attentive. Well done.

Restaurant already visited in December, to which we returned with pleasure. Very good fried dumplings and hot tigelle with raw ham, Romagna salami and parmesan. Sliced ​​venison was really good even if some diners didn't like the combination with the red carrot. The burgers with maxi tigelle are excellent. The pork with spinach is truly exquisite

Driven by the reviews we decided to try it today. Excellent location in the center, nice place with the possibility of eating outside. Very kind and polite staff (not at all obvious) even with our little dog. I would give the service six stars if I could!!!! Really excellent wholemeal tigelle and fried gnocco, fresh and tasty cured meats and delicious vegetables. What can I say, if you are in the area it's a must try. Populist approved!! Well done👍

In Reggio we have always looked for a place that gave the opportunity to eat the typical local delicacies. With Populista we found them. Cozy and colorful place, the friendly waiter is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We got all the choices on the fried gnocco and two chizzas one green pesto and one gnocco. The light, dry and very tasty fried food is delicious. Excellent cold cuts. The only flaw is that they all went out together and got cold. Sin. The wine is a very good prosecco. Excellent price quality.

I ate very well! It's just a shame that the tasting menu of tigelle and fried dumplings is not available on Saturdays. Super staff
