First time in a Tuscan restaurant. The Pici Porcini were delicate and full of flavor. The waitress made me taste 2 wines so that I could choose one that I liked, Tuscan wines tend to be "green". I discovered that eating almond biscuits (Cantucci - see photo) dipped in wine is delicious and is digestive

What can I say... little Tuscany in the heart of Ferrara. Small but welcoming place, young and friendly staff. Very good and plentiful dishes at honest prices. I highly recommend it!

Ottima cena con amici, abbiamo ordinato diversi tipi di portate con un ottimo grado di soddisfazione. Crostini, primi, tagliata e filetto con la cottura richiesta perfetta cosi come i fuori menu (trippa e ribollita). Servizio attento e molto cordiale, il vino propostoci (Morellino) buono a un prezzo modico, il conto finale per niente salato, da provare assolutamente.

Cena del 31 dicembre, prenotato ovviamente per tempo, al costo di euro 100 a persona. Prezzo abbastanza alto ma abbiamo fatto eccezione per Cenone a Ferrara. Il menu' e' abbastanza ampio e si puo' scegliere quello che si desidera. Si ha una fiorentina ( davvero ottima) e una bottiglia di vino a coppia. Davvero tutto buonissimo. Super consigliato

20/05/2024: A superb lunch in a lovely, rustic dining room with friendly and helpful staff. Standouts were the creamed salt cod starter and my parpadelle with rabbit and artichokes. Also very good value for money. Wish I'd taken some photos but was too busy eating. A brilliant find just a few minutes walk from the centre - highly recommended.
08/05/2024: From the outside the place doesn't look particularly nice, but once inside you discover a much cleaner and more well-kept environment, despite the tables and chairs being a little old and noisy. The dishes are good and the restaurant manages to create quite unusual and particular flavor combinations, however I find that the portions are a bit small. I would therefore recommend taking a first and second course, or a starter instead of one of the two. I instead address a slight criticism to the service, which I found slow. I can understand if food is delayed by complex preparation. But here we are also talking about delays in taking orders or bringing water. Furthermore, I found the waiter to be sometimes kind, sometimes meticulous. Rudely taking the trouble to correct the position of my napkin or plate. In fact, he wanted to correct me, moving the plate from my place to that of the person next to me, stating that "the plate should have been put there". I'll know who eats what, right? And in case I'm wrong, I think I can correct it. However, the dinner was satisfying

17/03/2024: An enchanting place Three steps, a door and you enter the historical memory of a city as magical as it is ungrateful in remembering what were, for some of us continue to be, moments of authentic sharing. At the end of the nineties in this place which still gathers in rare atmospheres today, trying to resist local ingratitude, and moreover still succeeding well in this aim, in that period dinners were organized with authors, from Stefano Tassinari to Carlo Lucarelli, Massimo Carlotto. And many more names of culture. Exhibitions of young and old local artists were organised. We could smell the traditional flavors for us omnivores, no more menus that are now widespread everywhere. Cappellacci, tagliatelle, salami, pinzino and strictly red wine. To this day it remains the most beautiful venue in the city. To understand and love it you must have had the fortune of inhabiting it and experiencing it then. However, there is always an emotion to experience. The cuisine remains fairly faithful to what it was, the atmosphere of the place is identical. The rest is up to those who decide to enter so as not to be absolutely disappointed. On the contrary! Be faithful to our places and inhabit them with joy.
