26/05/2024: Non sapevo cosa mi aspettasse perché sono stato invitato e non ho scelto io il ristorante. Non fatevi ingannare dal nome perché non è una osteria ma un Ristorante con la R maiuscola. Tutto e’ molto curato, dal menu all’arredamento e all’ospitalità dei proprietari. Il menu spazia da prodotti del territorio al pesce il tutto accompagnato da una ottima selezione di vini. Personalmente ho trovato sublime il filetto con l’escalope de foie gras, veramente ottimo. Ci ritornerò.

30/04/2024: Given the owner's response, I am amending the review to 1 as I think I was too generous previously. Large margins for improvement would be desirable. The meat is objectively good, but the portions are a bit stingy, as is the management which we will have the opportunity to delve into further on. Merely by way of example, the raw meat in 2 variations was minimal, however the caper and sauces covered the delicacy of the raw material. The steak - which arrived cold - was good, but not very filling. The hamburger was good, but also cold. Furthermore, some fried potatoes could have been added. Despite the complaint they could have perhaps given a few € discount, not that it was necessary, but usually when faced with problems we should deal with them. This is obviously weighed in the judgment. Next time I'll send it back. The answers for the owner. 1) the discount you advertised is €1. So if mathematics is not an opinion, €1/50 is 2%, ridiculous. 2) I know the chips are separate, in my opinion they should be served together as almost all places do. It is not a question of greed, but the outline should be understood. 3) it is indisputable that it was cold. Both hamburger and sliced. Rare means lukewarm on the inside and hot on the outside, that was COLD. In fact, not sending it back should have been something to be welcomed, you deserve people who send everything back at the first problem. 4) the small portions were also in the bread. 3 thin slices and some breadsticks. Of course, then the basket is changed, but I'm sure that the portions were small overall. And indeed, there is someone who hates overflowing plates. 5) opinionated and arrogant tones lead to the loss of the customer. We would have been happy to return and then give a higher rating, but given the content of the responses we will not return. Good luck!

14/05/2024: I just returned from Trattoria Roma and I must say that I was extremely satisfied! The quality of the dishes is exceptional, with quality ingredients. The staff were extremely courteous and professional, adding a touch of hospitality that made the evening even more pleasant and familiar. It is absolutely necessary to mention the hazelnut cake with eggnog mousse: a true delicacy that I can't wait to taste again! Highly recommended

06/04/2024: I was extremely enthusiastic about the experience at the Osteria dei Morti restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel truly pampered throughout the meal. The dishes were not only delicious, but also impeccably presented, demonstrating exceptional care and culinary artistry. Furthermore, the wine selection was exceptional, complementing the gastronomic experience perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

27/03/2024: Typical Piedmontese cuisine at a fixed price. Everything excellent and impeccable service. I particularly appreciated the choice and attention to vegetarians. Certainly worth trying if you are in Cuneo.

09/03/2024: Dinner with friends, looking for a place that offers something veg in Cuneo, I found Bento, high expectations given that it is not the usual all you can eat. Unfortunately, expectations were disappointed, at least as regards the veg dishes (the omnivorous friends were more satisfied). Another friend and I had seaweed salad, ravioli with vegetables, two ramen with vegetables (which aren't ramen) and a pan of fiery tofu. Steamed ravioli, good as usual. Simple, good seaweed salad. Ramen rejected, when ordering they tell us that they don't make them in broth because without meat and fish it wouldn't taste like anything, then a good portion of rice/buckwheat spaghetti arrives with a bit of potatoes, courgettes and sprouts, not well mixed (in fact the potatoes were cold), everything was a bit bland, I think it wasn't pan-fried. The tofu was a little better because it was on a bed of vegetables sautéed well in the small wok with stove that comes to your table, but here too there was little taste and the tofu, which I adore and eat in a thousand forms, was a little stringy. In conclusion, I think they need to revisit these dishes a bit, trying to give them an extra boost of flavour. ps: veg ramen in broth can be done, don't give up. For omnivores I recommend crepes. Still a nice place, with friendly staff and good prices (2 dishes each, wine, water, coffee and two jugs of sake 23 euros each)

26/04/2024: Sushi? Pokes? Ramen? I always hate to leave a negative review. I'm not from Cuneo and we ended up here to meet up with friends halfway. Chose the place due to the positive reviews. What to say? Very little choice on the menu… sushi… sushi? But also not. The poke? Not even that either. I couldn't tell you why I didn't order the Ramen. At the end of the meal, fortune cookies with a package written in German. I guess the floor was very dirty because the soles remained half stuck, the smell of fried food permeated the whole place and unfortunately also our clothes. It's a shame because in such a small place it wouldn't take much to do better.

01/04/2024: lunch with friends in this beautiful restaurant in the center of Cuneo, hidden just enough to skim the patrons a bit. friendly staff, truly spectacular dishes. I saw some young men wandering around in the kitchen who apparently know what they're doing. the assona tartare cooked with a knife was delicious, the poached egg with asparagus and truffle was so good that I would have had 4 of them. tajarin with lamb ragout and ravioli del plin which alone are worth the trip. Coming from Milan I had been recommended to other shores, but if I were to return to the city I would have no doubts. This is the right place. only note in the furnishings. I feel like I'm in someone's living room, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it all seemed too white, too precise... away with the print paintings and room for a bit of vintage! good.

14/05/2024: We went to this lovely tavern on Saturday for dinner, luckily we went early... for my taste a little too noisy, so many people, I think it's a good reference for the Cuneo nightlife... the place is very welcoming, and the owners are really very kind, but not only them, all the staff are friendly.. they are an excellent staff of young people. The service is fast and the food is very good! Very importantly, we also had our dog with us, who was also welcomed very well! Finally, a super appreciated choice of digestives!!! Thank you !!

26/03/2024: Very good! Pleasant dinner, with a few pearls. I loved the roast cardoon, beautiful and delicious. The "ris e coi" plin are very interesting and particular, even if they are not particularly tasty. The mustard and honey cheek is wonderful. Castelmagno's selection is very good. The bunet was good, small but very pleasant. Excellent service. I don't know the price, I was a guest.
