27/05/2024: Yesterday Sunday, I had lunch with a group of motorcyclist friends, the reservation was for sixteen people at a cost of 30 euros per person, fifteen of us showed up, the owners of the place immediately specified that we would still have to pay even for the absent person, because they had purchased and cooked meals for sixteen. We all accepted, without raising any problems. The small plate of the sixteenth appetizer, previously prepared, was served at the table, so everything was ok, but when the first course was served (half portions), the sixteenth course was not served. On a "personal basis" I pointed out to the lady in charge of the facility that, to be fair, she had to serve the missing course. To which the owner justified herself by saying that she had divided the quantity of food among the other diners, a discussion arose, as I pointed out that if I have to pay you "also" the cover charge, you "also" bring me the plate, and furthermore, having no way of checking, I can think that excluding the appetizer of which I received confirmation, the sixteenth course will not be served. In conclusion he served the missing first course and with a certain arrogance at each course he reiterated that the dishes served contained partly the food of the absentee. At this point, for the sake of peace of mind, I avoided rekindling the discussion. In conclusion, I personally had a very bad impression, not only because of the unpleasant discussion but also because of the low quality of the food. Tuscany is renowned for its high-level food and the professionalism of its operators, but this is certainly the exception that proves the rule.

27/05/2024: We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. For lunch, delicious pici and tagliatelle alla boscaiola. Really good pizza. Excellent service, excellent prices

29/04/2024: Rustic but very welcoming environment, the owner is an excellent host. If I were to return to those parts I would definitely go back, very good food and superlative red wine

17/08/2023: Thank you for these excellent traditional sandwiches, as well as for tasting the small aperitif cakes and the sweets for dessert. For a very competitive price. A person who loves his work! It shows in the smile and in the taste.

19/07/2023: ho acquistato dei biscotti e del pane al Dolce Forno di Scansano, e devo dire che i prodotti acquistati sono stati tutti buonissimi. il Pane eccezionale, ma ancor di più i biscotti. Superlativi!!!!
