19/05/2024: It's been years since I went to Suban but nothing has changed: the food, the service, the interior of the restaurant... everything always at the highest level.

01/04/2024: Osteria with typical dishes of the area, lacks a selection for vegetarians but the staff is very clear about it (you have no surprises, you know it in advance).

01/04/2024: Small brewery in the center of Trieste. Typical Trieste dishes of excellent quality. A special mention for the goulash with potatoes in the pan, truly delicious. Absolutely worth trying.

26/05/2024: In search of typical buffets, we arrived here on a Sunday, a place outside the Riviera tourism: they welcomed us well, well recommended and well served!! While we savored tastes that were new to us Tuscans, we were able to glimpse a little of the typical Trieste tradition, and with great pleasure! Excellent knife-cut cooked ham, amazing giulianska, excellent sauerkraut, refined emperor's dessert...we said goodbye with our hearts and were satisfied!

16/03/2024: Il locale di piccole dimensioni offre un'atmosfera che ricorda una tradizionale birreria bavarese, arricchita da un sottofondo musicale suggestivo. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, rendendo l'esperienza accogliente e familiare. La presenza di piatti della tradizione triestina è un tocco autentico e apprezzato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Tuttavia, il vino (terrano) e la pelinkovac offerto dalla casa non sono stati all'altezza delle aspettative personali: la pelinkovac era troppo amaro per i miei gusti, preferisco una varietà meno amara.

15/03/2024: Locale nel centro di Trieste, servizio veloce ed informale, supervisionato dall’attento proprietario . Menu composto da piatti tipici, correttamente presentati dal personale di sala. Tutto quello che abbiamo provato è stato di nostro gradimento. Anche nostro figlio di due anni è stato accolto con attenzione e ha mangiato un’intera e squisita porzione di gnocchi al ragù!rapporto qualità/ prezzo corretta. Locale assolutamente da provare…e riprovare in futuro! BRAVI!

27/05/2024: A stop must be made here too. Ham is always excellent and even better if with fresh cream and mustard. Then a good glass of wine.

24/05/2024: A customer from Trieste brought us here, ensuring that we would not be disappointed, and so we were. The place is simple and easy-going, but it allowed us to eat great. First we tried the Jota and then we threw ourselves on a mixed plate of sausages and boiled meats accompanied by sauerkraut. All washed down with excellent beer. As they did with me, I recommend it to anyone looking for a typical place to eat well!

07/04/2024: We came to a lively inn for lunch. A lot of waiters and cooks were employed, so we were served quickly. When I asked if it was cooked with meat, I was assured that it was not. As soon as the waiter brought the food, a piece of meat floated inside. They apologized and did not charge for these meals, but still left a bad aftertaste. She wouldn't come back because they were cheating.

03/04/2024: If you want to eat good Trieste boiled meat you can't miss coming here! In the center of Trieste you can eat inside or at outdoor tables. Very fast service and quality meat. Courteous and accommodating staff. Very good price. Highly recommended

14/04/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant with some friends because we wanted to try the goulash. We booked a table outside because the weather allowed it. To start our dinner we ordered two platters of mixed cold cuts, especially the cooked ones were delicious. We decided to continue with different dishes: potato gnocchi with beef goulash, delicious. My husband and a friend really enjoyed the roe deer goulash and my friends the musetto with sauerkraut and potatoes, all accompanied by a good red wine. A fantastic apple strudel and a Rigonjancsi closed a fantastic dinner.
