Warm and welcoming atmosphere, Casa de Nonna aims to be a trattoria that recalls the environments of our grandparents' homes... and I must say, also thanks to the 60s background music, it does it well.

Having a distant daughter, I travel from south to north several times a year. Since I discovered A casa de nonna I have not taken the plane and I organize a stop in Colleferro just to taste their amatriciana, but also the artichokes alla giudia, the cacio e pepe, his majesty the carbonara and why not the splendid meatballs de nonna . I'd take it all! The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. On to the next trip.

Found by chance after a stop at Valmontone Outlet. Good fresh homemade food. The oil in the fried food is a bit borderline like the sausage. Overall very good.

05/04/2024: Entered by chance, remarkable experience. I'll start with the staff, very kind, fast, trained in all the languages ​​of the world and attentive (this is not a given for Rome, and a Roman says so...). There are national dishes and those of our Capitoline tradition (the place has a history, it was in via Panisperna even before the second war and we imagine perhaps that Fermi and the famous "boys" who made history went there to eat). I tried - off the menu - some excellent tonnarelli (nice al dente), with artichoke cream, pecorino and bacon. Large and welcoming internal rooms and internal space in the lively Monti district. Bathrooms in order (and this too is unusual for the capital!). Widely competitive prices for quality and service.
05/04/2024: Excellent food with fast service even when busy. Easy to ignore the slightly dated decor when food is this good.

03/04/2024: Unfortunately, not a positive experience, some dishes were excellent but the frying was not fresh and the artichoke was inedible. Price not acceptable for portions that I would define as minimal..
27/03/2024: Exceptional cuisine with different and delicious raw appetizers. We took two types of first courses with razor clams, lupins, prawns and more... Amazing. I'll be back for the second courses. Congratulations for everything
