We stayed on August 15th. We are from Genoa and for us it's a dream to just sleep in August with a blanket... The location of the property is excellent if you are on the slopes of the Maddalena hill, 20 km from the French Alps. The owner, the legendary Mrs Gabriella, guarantees hospitality and home-made dinner (the good ones) We chose half board. Dogs accepted Absolutely good price PS up there at 1,600 meters the mobile lines don't work so don't use booking to book, call the landline

L'albergo e' un po' datato e cadente ma, una volta entrati nelle camere, si nota che queste sono state completamete ristrutturate, cosi' come i bagni. Tutto molto pulito e ordinato. Il ristorante, offre una scelta di 3 primi, 3 secondi, 3 contorni e 2 dolci. Piatti modesti ma cucinati molto bene! Molto cordiale la titolare. Ottimo anche per la vicinanza al confine francese del Colle della Maddalena. Disponibile garage per la moto, gratuito. Prezzi consoni al tipo di struttura.

Due stelle meritatissime per questo albergo , sentirsi a casa, in famiglia, tra amici , questa è stata l'esperienza che ho vissuto. Cucina ottima , con prodotti dell'orto, frittata di erbette e minestrone ..... Torte ancora tiepide alla frutta.... bravissima alla cuoca, nonché proprietaria . Non aspettarti camere di un hotel , ma la pulizia è assicurata, e il calore umano compensa il resto.

11/12/2023: Cenato in coppia con prenotazione per gustare le tipiche lumache. Menu dedicato che prevedeva portate con al centro questo gustoso prodotto, spiedini, a seguire lumache con fonduta e uovo cbt, con cardi e bagna cauda, con polenta e con i classici plin, alla cantunera e per finire alla parigina….. ah no, a richiesta un fuori programma di lumache panate e fritte (speciali); menzione speciale per la signora Marilena per la pazienza e disponibilità 😉, ho scritto troppe volte lumache 🐌? … mi scuso ma è stata davvero una buona esperienza.
09/12/2023: Sono tornato dopo la visita a luglio per i funghi. Come vengono cucinati, come vengono serviti e come sono accompagnati. Vale la pena venire quassù.
