I was there for five o'clock tea, strictly by reservation. In reality the place is called Smith's British - Restaurant from the outside there is the sign "Casa Manitu". It's still them, even if they serve cocktails there. It is a place reminiscent of English tea rooms, in style and furnishings, you are seated in one of the two rooms, after choosing your tea, you are given either a glass of prosecco, or water, sparkling or still. The snack is brought on an elegant stand, under the savory dish, then: sandwiches, sandwiches and refined canapés... on top of delicious pastries and mini cupcakes of all sorts. Separately, there are Scones filled with the classic Cornish cream (clotted), it is a particular filling that is very reminiscent of butter cream. It was a great experience, everything was impeccable, the food exquisite. Once home, we skipped dinner because we were full. Highly recommended

Great experience! Discovering English, Irish and Scottish cuisine is truly interesting. As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed and you immediately feel at ease. The staff is discreet and kind in explaining the dishes and recommending drinks to match, including a choice of original typical beers. The food cooked with skill and care in presentation has combinations, unusual for us, but very pleasant, even vegan, truly a pleasant discovery. And for those who want to spend more "casual" moments there is a large space where you can have an aperitif with friends or graduation and birthday parties, with truly expert bartenders. For tea lovers, a couple of times a month they organize what we have always called "the five o'clock tea", typical English. Casa Manitù is not only the only English restaurant in Italy, it is the first and will always be the first to have brought typical English colors and flavours. Thanks to the owners for having had the courage to offer us these delights. If you are looking for a particular and unusual place, let yourself be transported into this experience.

I was there for a simple aperitif with friends and perhaps the expectations were high, I don't know, a nice place with decent cocktails but it will appetize without any taste... a disappointment for me... what can I say goes a long way in giving acceptable stuff to eat.

Nice venue. Fairly quick service. Aperitif €15 per person with drink. Very good lasagna, but Personally I would have added something tasty like olives or Russian salad or cheese. Lasagna, salami sandwich, two stuffed focaccias, omelette and vegetable flan, good but I repeat too "heavy".

Aperitif served, good food also in vegan version and refined cocktails. Suitable for quick consumption.

Like Alice walking through the looking glass, upon entering that place you are catapulted into a parallel university that takes you from Turin to the tea rooms of London..

I celebrated my birthday at this place a few days ago. In addition to a location with attention to the smallest details, the staff made the difference. Courteous, attentive, helpful and never too intrusive. We didn't try the food, but the cocktails were great. We will be back, thank you very much!
