Often crowded, staff not always courteous, sometimes visibly annoyed, average drinks. According to tradition, the Negroni Sbagliato was born here, but in all honesty it doesn't seem to be the biggest mistake in the management of the bar.

Historical and traditional place of design. Excellent negronis.

A historical shop, with beautiful decoration but unfortunately with very rude staff. The waiter who served us is unfit for the job. Shame because the aperol was delicious! (For 2 aperol we paid €24)

Legendary place. A historic bar that every Milanese knows, it has been open since 1947. Here they came up with the iconic Negroni Sbagliato cocktail, which Italians drink as an evening aperitif. Yes, it is the Negroni cocktail that is a more authentic story, while the Aperol Spritz is the choice of tourists. Bar Basso hosts iconic parties during Design Week. In 1999, the owner of the bar, Maurizio, and several famous designers: James Irvine, Marc Newson, Jasper Morisson and others, each invited 20 friends from the design community for an aperitif at this place. By evening the place was overcrowded, and every subsequent night people continued to arrive. Thus, with the help of word of mouth and bohemian interior, Bar Basso has become a cult place for networking for decorators and architects

Storico bar milanese, spesso anche set cinematografico, in cui sono stata parecchie volte: per un aperitivo, un caffè, una merenda, un dopocena… I cocktail sono buoni, anche se gli stuzzichini di accompagnamento potrebbero essere migliori e i prezzi risultano un po’ eccessivi, il problema è il servizio non sempre cortese e un po’ distratto. Peccato perché potrebbe fare e dare di più, mentre si accontenta di vivere della sua fama. Forse una scelta azzeccata, visto che di sera è sempre pieno, ma ripeto, peccato…
