Best Aperol Spritz far and wide. Unlike other places, the mineral water and ice cream are served separately. Very quick and friendly service.

Nice bar on the promenade. Delicious wines and fantastic food a la minute. Drinks come with a platter of chips and olives.

02/04/2024: A nice place to spend hours with friends!
02/04/2024: Historic venue in the center of Chieri, with summer terrace, 2 rooms and parking in front of the venue or nearby. In recent years it has been revisited, pleasing to the eye, the soundproofing is not great and you are forced to use a high tone to speak to the diners. Good choice on the menu, excellent Gilac beers available. I got the hamburger on the plate but I wasn't impressed. The kitchen remains that of a normal pub, among other things I didn't quite understand the presence of the cut hamburger bread. Since there aren't many pubs in Chieri, there aren't many alternatives, I recommend it for an informal dinner. Prices are medium high

Hotel Sangrila Restaurant

01/03/2024: We stayed for a week in Feb. The rooms were tastefully decorated, very clean, comfortable, quiet and have a TV, wifi and private bathroom. A supermarket is across the road and it's only 5 minutes walk to the historic town centre, shops, river and train station, so you can easily get the train to Torino for the day. There is a lively restaurant downstairs which has vegan options - even vegan mozzarella! - so we had delicious pizzas, pasta and grilled vegetable dishes. The amazing bread deserves a mention of its own! There is also a bar where you can have a drink or (in my case) an Aperol spritz before dinner, sitting on the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful and 'good craic' as we say in Ireland. They even had soya milk for our tea/breakfast, which was nice. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and its restaurant for a relaxing stay in an ambient atmosphere with good food in a great location.
