A happy experience with my friends Eleonora and Germana starting from the sixteenth century environment where I tasted excellent traditional Florentine dishes made with skill and attention to raw materials. Worth mentioning are the pappardelle (homemade) with duck ragù, wonderful, the pici with Tuscan ragù (memory dish for me) and the stuffed artichokes. The staff is extremely welcoming, non-formal and the chef Alessandro is very good, thoughtful and friendly. Absolutely recommended on a trip to Florence.

Ristorante situato a pochi passi dal Teatro Verdi,cmq in pieno centro. La location al suo interno è antica è bellissima .La mise en place minimal ma ben curata. Il personale di altissimo livello.Molto preparato, cordiale, disponibile per ogni esigenza e molto professionale. Il menù presenta una cucina tradizionale Toscana ma con rivisitazione che danno quella punta di modernità. La cucina è eseguita molto bene...quindi complimenti allo chef. Sulle materie prime ....bhe sono di alto livello..

Cena con amici. Proviamo boccanegra, locale che avevo adocchiato passandoci davanti, ma mai provato. Che dire, scelta azzeccatissima, locale caldo ben curato, con servizio accogliente gentile e simpatico. Cibo buonissimo e ben impiantato. Giusto il conto visto la qualità, il sevizio e la location. Consigliatissimo

04/04/2024: Amazing food and service. The best meal we had in Italy over 14 nights! Well priced too. We had steak, potatoes, aubergine and artichokes.
02/04/2024: We have been here several times. The food is great. Perfect little family restaurant. We were here summer 2017 and the receptionist at the hotel recommended it to us, then we fell in love with the place. We visited it 3 nights in a row during our stay in Florence. This time after 7 years we visited Florence again and we came back again and found out everything is still the same. Perfectly fine food and people. Except the passing of mama, you will forever be missed! I hope this place stays forever and we can revisit again!

26/01/2024: Delicious food, excellent atmosphere, and great service! It's where I look for good food- away from the tourist areas. Even if it's a short walk from some of those. We were not disappointed. Come enjoy a great meal!
16/01/2024: We are a couple from US traveling through Europe.  This was the best meal in Italy!  I rarely do reviews,  but the experience was so excellent I felt obligated to inform others. The chef shared some specials with us.  The food was fresh and the portions were good sized.  The taste were amazing (awesome). The staging of the meal was perfect 👌.  The service was perfect and also spoke English as well. This meal would have cost more in the United States,  but was about half of what I expected to pay.
