Last day of holiday in Salento, we are talking about October with temperatures still summery 😃 we decided to eat meat so we decided to book at the Tavernetta, my wife and I and our beloved Dogo Argentino. Right choice, owner and staff available and very kind. They explained all the courses to us (I would have taken everything) and in the end we asked them for advice. Everything was excellent from the starter to the wine. We will return again next year.

Ho scelto questo ristorante dopo aver letto le recensioni positive sulla qualità della carne. Questa sera ho avuto la conferma che la Tavernetta merita un giudizio eccellente. Il personale è attento alle vostre richieste, gentilissimi. I piatti sono squisiti e cucinati alla perfezione. I prezzi sono più che corretti. In sintesi consiglio questo ristorante a chi ama mangiare prodotti di qualità. Grazie e ci rivedremo alle prossime vacanze.

Excellent food and service, but the outdoor tables are located in a small street without adequate separation; Maybe it's not the owners' fault, but eating while someone is riding around on a scooter (despite the barrier) or making the dog peep is not the best. I would put some sort of closure, a wooden grill, something like that to delimit the space of the external tables.

On holiday in Porto Cesareo we want to eat meat, I rely on the reviews and book at the Tavernetta. Simone was the perfect host, generous with information and explanations. We ate the bombette, absolutely not to be missed, and two very tender fillets cooked to perfection! The house wine proposed by Simone is excellent. End dinner with a delicious fig liqueur.
Good value for money.
