We enjoyed the tasting menu very much but in the end we were left a bit disappointed by the fact that there was very little variety in the dishes. Eg. anchovies in 3 consecutive dishes and the main meat plate replaced by again fish because of “chef’s imagination”… better next time.

We had the tasting menu. Every dish was a hit, and we left full. The price was very reasonable for the quality. Service was friendly and attentive without being fussy. Our best meal in Palermo.

Excellent food in a very nice environment. Dinner, with wine, is about 50 € per person. There is an option for a tasting menu.

Bel ristorante che conserva e valorizza le caratteristiche dell'edificio storico in cui si trova, in pieno centro storico. Interessanti i piatti proposti, molti dei quali sono nel solco della tradizione della cucina palermitana. Abbiamo apprezzato il cibo, la presentazione dei piatti, la gentilezza del personale, le birre; un po' meno il servizio, un po' troppo rapido e che ci ha concesso poche soste in un tempo natalizio in cui saremmo stati volentieri a tavola senza fretta, e i prezzi, non esattamente "popolani" come cita il nome stridente "Buatta cucina popolana".

Abbiamo mangiato domenica a pranzo avendo prenotato durante la settimana e consigliamo visto l'alta frequentazione del locale. abbiamo optato per i piatti della tradizione: gigli alla norma, bucatini con le sarde e sarde al beccafico. Tutto molto buono. anche il pane. lista dei vini ben fornita. non abbiamo avuto l'entreè che leggo nelle altre recensioni.

01/04/2024: The best views to eat in Cefalu but for the food, we expected a little more. Depending on the type of pasta we ordered, it was better or worse (pasta stuffed with fish and shrimp was very good), but the grilled fish was overcooked and was not enjoyed.
12/01/2024: Large terrace, beautiful place with excellent cuisine even for celiacs, good service.
