We can't understand some of the negative reviews!! Very polite and pleasant host who really runs this restaurant with all his heart and soul. The Indian food was truly a treat (we had 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian dish, and the naan bread was simply wonderfully fluffy). Unfortunately, it was only after ordering our food that we read in the menu that when choosing the meat, eggs and generally good organic and free-range quality, emphasis was placed on it... then we would have really liked to try a meat dish... We can use the restaurant So I highly recommend it, really something special here on Lido!

We often go to this restaurant for
the excellent quality and variety of the menu, they always have new and delicious things.
The list of wines and craft beers is very sought after.
The owner and his staff are delightful, which is why I always happily recommend him.

Siamo stati ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante del Lido di Venezia. Entrando, quello che mi ha subito stupito, è stata l'accoglienza, perché ci è venuto incontro e poi servito a tavola, un signore dal marcato accento veneziano, mentre di solito i ristoranti indiani in Italia sono di gestione indiana. Chissà, forse in cucina il cuoco è orientale. Il menù spazia dall'India al Laos, passando per il Bangladesh. Il cibo è buono con diversi piatti piccanti e il menù è interattivo. I prezzi delle bevande sono effettivamente un po' alti. Il locale è piccolo e arredato con gusto. Il servizio è solerte e discreto.

Entering this place is like taking a trip to a magical place. You can breathe love for what you do. Delicious food and very kind owner. If you like Indian it's really the best! We will gladly return! There are vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options!

I enjoyed a very delecious freshly cooked Indian meal here on Lido at Antar's fine restaurant "Buddha Soul Restò," as my photos show. First a snack: This is Nimki (Indian snacj home made) with two sauces (cucumber raita and green peas curry). Then, a cup of Indian rice, a cup of mixed vegetables, and a cup with fresh chicken with a honey-tomato sauce -- this is a Kombo: Vietnam veggy (bitter sweet) with Turkish honey and jira rice (basmati with cumin seed, mint and coriander). Tasting great to me! Thank you. Also, to Antar for the food information! I hope to come back one day to Lido and your wonderful Indian restaurant!

Damn good pad thai. Big plate and really worth seven euros. Good bottled IPA. The menu was provided on a tablet instead of paper. It would have been convenient if you could send the order directly via the tablet instead of waiting for the waiter. But everything was quick and easy. Good service.

Top quality experience!!
Me and my gf wanted an easy and relaxed spot in Venice by the see (Lido), to enjoy the sun and some good food, we ended up at this Indian restaurant we couldn't believe so delicious!
The owner's welcoming has been amazing, taking care first of all of our dog asking for some water. He was even warried to give us the most sunny table despite the restaurant was closing!
Then he introduced every single plate and drink from the menu, taking care of combining for us wines and dishes as needed.
He has been so nice that the overall experience has been really pleasant!
That's the prove of professionalism and love for the job!
Highly recommended!!

Let me start by saying that I don't know Indian cuisine well... but I love tasty, spicy, spicy cuisine... and this place is simply fantastic!!!!! The Thali are phenomenal!!!! We notice a great attention and passion which in Venice in particular is now a rare commodity... really many compliments!!!!
