A very charming little bar with very affordable prices in an adorable and uncrowded setting

Nice place for a short brake, on a great location, close over the Roman Forum, on a Piazza della Consolatione, with a view to a Capitoline Hill. Although it was one cold rainy spring afternoon, we spent nice time there, enjoying the best aperitivo we had in Rome, served with warm hospitality. Recommend you to drop by.

Small restaurant with great variety. Ideal for breakfast, mid morning snack, afternoon snack, even lunch with a good daily menu. In august is closed at night. Good and friendly service

Regardless of the serenity of the place, the courtesy, quality and intimacy of the environment are not lacking! I think the photo is enough! It was just two coffees by the glass...hahaha

Small historic bar that keeps the old name but is actually a simple unpretentious bar located in via dei Fienili, right in front of the beautiful church of Santa Maria della Consolazione, in the San Teodoro district. A nice and cozy coffee shop where you can have a coffee, breakfast, or a small bite and a good aperitif at moderate prices. We had a lovely breakfast there. The staff were really kind and very nice, always very attentive to what is requested. In the evening it is very suggestive, because it is right on the corner of the church with little lights that make the place very welcoming.

The place isn't very big but the coffee and croissants are worth a visit. However, I believe that the strong point of this place is the extreme friendliness and courtesy of the owner and staff, always polite and efficient even when there are so many requests. Definitely honest prices. I certainly recommend it also for its proximity to one of the most beautiful parts of Rome: a few steps away you can visit the Church of S. Maria della Consolazione and, climbing the Capitoline hill, the Capitoline Hill with its beautiful square.

I am a tour guide always looking for places to orient my clients to. I just had a coffee break in this cafe. The appearance didn't strike me that much, except for a nice oriental screen (Chinese or Japanese)... But friendliness yes. The staff is courteous and approachable, helpful and kind. The coffee wasn't bad. I also got a chocolate croissant... Acceptable. If you were in the area and needed to take a break, it's not bad.
