Fabulous local, great service and and atmosphere! Amazingly patient waitress, she took time to explain to all the various dishes. Lovely food, great wines. Pasta was some of the best we have had in Rome. Save room for desert, the various options were tried by our large group and all were yummy!

This a must if you are in Rome! The only restaurant where all Itallians were customers. Homemade mails, so tastefull. Best cacio e peppe we had in Rome. This is a hidden gem! We will come each time we are in Rome.

Authentic Roman trattoria with authentic, quality and abundant dishes. 4 first courses, 4 second courses and 2 side dishes, as usual. The service is fast and courteous, the place is spartan but when you look for a tavern you expect nothing else. Amatriciana to make your head spin. Instantly bookmarked! Attention: coffee is not needed, but next door you will find a very good one, where you will also find the owner of Cacio e Pepe 😂

Siamo venuti due volte in questo ristorante ed entrambe le occasioni abbiamo sperimentato alti e bassi (siamo stati meglio però la prima volta). Il locale è sempre molto affollato, quindi c'è parecchia confusione (noi abbiamo mangiato entrambe le volte fuori sul marciapiede, non oso pensare a cosa ci possa essere all'interno), i camerieri spesso si perdono le comande e vagano abbastanza frustrati tra i tavoli. Qualche sorriso in più non guasterebbe, ma capisco anche la loro difficoltà. Abbiamo provato la carbonara (molto buona ed abbondante, la prima volta che ci siamo andati, meno la seconda volta), cacio e pepe (ne ho mangiate di molto migliori) straccetti di pollo (sorprendentemente molto buoni) parmigiana di melanzane (la prima volta veramente buona, mentre la seconda meno saporita) e polpette (buone ma senza particolari segni di nota). Dolci alcuni buoni altri decisamente incomprensibili. Apprezzabile la possibilità di fare mezze porzioni, ma a volte le proporzioni tra mezze porzioni e quelle intere non è ben comprensibile. Prezzo abbastanza contenuto, anche considerando la zona.

Very popular with the locals, we were lucky and got straight in. Great no frills, simple but delicious pasta at reasonable prices. The signature dish Cacio e pepe was only €10.00. Would highly recommend.

Location con possibilità sia all'interno (pochi posti) che all'esterno. Personale molto cortese e gentile. Possibilità di prendere anche mezze porzioni. Qualità eccezionale! A due passi dalla storica sede RAI di Viale Mazzini.
