In piazza ad Alessano, tavoli all’aperto anche un po’ instabili. Discreta la cucina senza glutine, meglio quella ordinaria. Purtroppo non posso fare a meno di menzionare una massiccia presenza di gatti, ma anche di cani randagi di grossa taglia con conseguenti momenti di tensione. Pazienza….

I hadn't heard silence in too long. And Mrs. Eleonora's flavors are worth the kilometers to reach one of her tables. It's nice, as a Salento native, to discover a new place of your heart.

Excellent Trattoria, very kind and helpful staff, super delicious dishes, I ate a seafood appetizer and gnocchi with prawns and dried figs, all very plentiful, while waiting for the table (due to the rain), they welcomed us with excellent prosecco, prices in line with the quality offered, Eleonora is an excellent cook, compliments to her and all the staff...I will absolutely return.

We had dinner with friends. Unfortunately it was raining and the tables outside were not usable but they welcomed us with an aperitif while waiting for a table inside. Excellent food, really delicious seafood and vegetable appetizers. Then we ate a different first course each. All really good, but the top potato gnocchi with prawns and dried figs, delicious. Very kind owners. Unfortunately the holidays are over this year we love Salento so we will return next year. Truly recommended for us.

Siamo andati in compagnia, amiamo il salento e la sua cucina. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Un antipasto a testa chi di mare xhi di verdura era una porzione grandissima e soprattutto buonissimi. Poi un primo. Imbattibili gnocchi di patate con gamberi e fichi secchi che cucina Eleonora. I figli di Eleonora molto gentili e servizio top. Purtroppo le vacanze sono finite ma il prossimo anno ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Super consigliato

The place is suggestive and the restaurant is set in a 15th century building.
The owners and waiters are very kind and efficient. The starters are many and plentiful, the first courses are delicious and the portions are generous and the prices are modest. I will be back!!!

Located in the center of Alessano, reachable with a beautiful walk through the streets of the town, the trattoria da Eleonora offers impeccable service, with friendly and super helpful staff. The menu, although compact, offers a selection of sea and land with slightly revisited typical dishes. To end the dinner, leave room for a fresh cocktail!

Tutto bene tranne un'orribile mousse di fichi che non sapeva assolutamente di fichi (delizie di dolce arte, Taviano, cancellateli), fortunatamente poi sostituita da un'ottima crostata del locale, non si capisce perché non proposta in prima battuta
