Pleasant day in Vallerano, with a stop at the Cantina La Stoppa: excellent lunch and excellent service despite the place being full. Typical and tasty first courses!

On the occasion of the chestnut festival, we had lunch in this cellar. Here is our review. - Winning dish: Valleranese rabbit and potatoes - Service: excellent, fast and kind (also recommended if you have children. They provided us with a high chair immediately and advised us on the choice of dishes for the little ones) - Prices: absolutely moderate taking into account the quality.

Ieri, con la mia compagna decidiamo di andare a Vallerano in occasione della festa della castagna. Siccome il tempo non era un granché decidiamo subito di pranzare e nello scegliere una delle cantine locali, ci ha attirate La cantina La Stoppa per non aver proposto un menù fisso e dare più libertà di scelta nelle pietanze. Lo staff è gentilissimo e accorto, si è premurato di volta in volta andasse tutto bene. Ordinazione self service, simpatica come scelta di non far prendere le comando alle/i cameriere/i, ma di proporre un foglio bianco dove far segnare i piatti da scegliere. Le pietanze sono state davvero buonissime e gustose, da assaggiare assolutamente i panzerotti ricotta e spinaci con granella di nocciole e castagne aromatizzati con salvia. Vino eccellente. Nel coperto erano già inclusi antipasto, vino, acqua, dolcetti, caldarroste e grappa/limoncello. Abbiamo speso 30 euro in due e facciamo i complimenti a questa associazione per averci regalato un pranzo sereno, genuino e dai vecchi ricordi. Ah, poi non c'era musica a palla, il che ha agevolato l'intimità colloquiale tra le persone. Grazie, davvero

The cellar of cellars! For years now I have been making a regular stop here with my friends, family and even work colleagues for the chestnut festival (company lunches in a truly evocative setting). The food is unique, and by unique I mean that the flavors and recipes are typical of the Viterbo area, the first courses are often flavored with local herbs, as well as lamb and rabbit, as well as crunchy hazelnuts being present in some dishes among the ingredients. An experience, also considering the environment of the cellar (a huge cellar) with typical aromas and fair prices.

Great find! We had lunch at Cantina La Stoppa on a Saturday, we chose this nice one because it struck us from the outside while we were walking. The first courses are really worth trying, very good (hazelnut and chestnut panzerotti are recommended)! The place is very characteristic and everyone was very kind. Promoted!!!

Tagliolini with local aromas, simple but delicious, one of the first dishes tasted. Very soft rabbit, we will be back.

La Cantina La Stoppa è stata veramente una scoperta! Abbiamo mangiato li per pranzo, piatti di ottima qualità e prezzi contenuti. Servizio ottimo (tutti gentilissimi) e location molto caratteristica. Consigliato sia per pranzo/cena tra amici che in famiglia!
