Cantina Lamadè In Pisciotta

Great little place. Here dishes are created according to old recipes. We were able to spend a very pleasant evening here. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to eat here again. However, postponed is not canceled.

Excellent food, attentive and friendly staff

I really wanted to like this place more. But, maybe we were there on the wrong night. The service was all over the place. We had to ask three times just to get our bottle of water. We ordered drinks and they never came. The menu is printed in faded ink in cursive, so you cannot read it. The owner - who is super nice and loves to chat - explains every menu item to every table… The food was just okay. It lacked flavor overall.

Five stars because you can't do more, a truly wonderful experience. Competent, kind, friendly staff and especially nice people. As for the food, I don't even know how to classify this delicious cuisine, absolutely everything was excellent. Lovely couple run restaurant. Charming atmosphere outside close to the main square of the picturesque town of Pisciotta. The food was a home run; lovely taste, highest quality, strictly local ingredients and traditional dishes with a twist. Beautiful dinner experience; one of the very best we had on our Italy trip of this year. And some of the best wine as well. Complimenti e alla prossima!

La cosa positiva è che offrono anche piatti non di pesce. Dal mio punto di vista personale, una ricerca culinaria non proprio riuscita. Il servizio è buono, i prezzi un po' alti.

Consigliato da amici, ho riscontrato un ottimo sevizio e cibo di prima qualità. La passione della proprietà è riportata nei piatti serviti. Consiglio vivamente le triglie marinare oltre ai primi piatti con pasta di grano scuro fatta a mano. Ci torneremo per assaggiare le altre pietanze. Conto nella media di tanta qualità.

Avevamo molte aspettative per questo locale situato nel paese arroccato di Pisciotta , forse non siamo capitati nella serata giusta ... Il servizio molto lento, avevamo prenotato alle 21 ed abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora al tavolo per le ordinazioni . Si cena all'aperto in una via di passaggio, il mio giudizio è comunque positivo per quanto ho ordinato: ottime le alici ammolicate, si tratta di un tortino di acciughe preparate al forno dal gusto molto delicato e cotte perfettamente, sufficiente la pasta con grani antichi alle alici anche se con quel tipo di condimento il sapore della pasta, peraltro molto buona, esclude in parte il sapore del piatto. Devo peraltro rimarcare che non ci è stato fatto pagare il baccalà preso dal mio amico che era crudo internamente ed è stato sostituito dal baccalà fritto con crema , piatto decisamente ben preparato. Molto onesti nel ricarico sui vini aglianico e fiano, il locale ha comunque grandi potenzialità nella ricerca della materia prima ma forse ha risentito della grande affluenza estiva. Marco di Genova
