Casa Fontana In Baceno

Sono stata a pranzo presso Casa Fontana pochi giorni fa con un gruppo di colleghi-amici. Il ristorante si trova non troppo distante dal parcheggio adibito ma per raggiungerlo è stato necessario percorrere un piccolo dislivello che era assolutamente impraticabile in quanto la strada era completamente ghiacciata e a tratti piuttosto ripida. Nessuno, al momento della prenotazione, ci aveva avvisato dell’inconveniente, perché era sicuramente necessario armarsi di attrezzature idonee per non rischiare di farsi male. La struttura molto carina e caratteristica sia all’interno che all’esterno. Personale davvero poco cordiale e affabile con i clienti, piatti tipici e di qualità anche se forse alcune porzioni un po’ risicate. Nel complesso la nostra esperienza non è stata delle migliori.

We've been going there for years. Everything exceptional, from the food to the wine, from the friendliness to the atmosphere. And finally the place. It's like entering a fairy tale. Splendid overnight stay. But dinner alone is an extraordinary and totally satisfying experience.

Ate very well with very generous portions

Three of us, two adults and a child, visit the restaurant in January with a short walk in the snow in the woods. The restaurant is part of a wooden cabin 🪵 very well kept. The welcome was immediately excellent with a smile from everyone. We are assigned a table where we have the pleasure of tasting the excellent dishes offered, we decide on a cold cuts appetizer, a ravioli, bacon and slices. We also taste the desserts and an excellent genepì. The dishes are prepared with excellent ingredients, well cooked and presented. The service is fast and discreet. At the end of lunch the owner stopped by for a few words, which was very pleasing. Price certainly in line with what is proposed and for the location. At the entrance, footwear is provided to avoid entering and dirtying the rooms. 👍If you're in the area, lunch or dinner will definitely not disappoint you. We will try the rooms in the future. Reservation recommended😀

We had already been to this hotel restaurant several years ago and the good memories we had were reconfirmed. Excellent management, friendly and helpful staff, always excellent cuisine

Excellent location in a beautiful place that is Alpe Devero, eating divinely well

This chalet is really beautiful, excellent food and location. Casa Fontana is immersed in the mountains which, when covered in snow, transform the view even more beautiful. The service is also excellent and kind. The only problem is that getting to the hut is a bit far away but for those who want to walk it is excellent for keeping fit. I have never been able to give five stars.

Supernice and easy walk in the forest to reach this place where you could have a warming welcome tasting a French fondue with kirsch and a nice bottle of Prunent.

Gustosa esperienza in una accogliente baita. Molto preparato anche il personale. Eravamo in 4 abbiamo preso circa 3 portate a testa. Tutto molto buono ma il lardo con il miele e noci è veramente squisito!! Consigliatissimo!!!
